I plan on rotating 2 pairs of black sweatpants that I outgrew in 2nd tri and a pair of black yoga pants pretty much from when I give birth until the end of the year. Someone tell me if I'm doing it wrong

My postpartum wardrobe will consist of yoga pants (black or a heathered grey) and whatever top I fit into with nursing tanks under. Depending on the weather it might have to be tanks & yoga capris. I only bought a couple maternity maxi skirts (but they can be worn pp) and maxi dresses, so I have those too.

My PP wardrobe will be my maxi skirts and leggings until i fit into my regular jeans again. Since i could fit in about half my tops up until a week or two ago, i think I'll be good on tops. I got a hoody from latched mama that I'm super excited about.

I don't even know where to start for PP clothes. At this rate, I shouldn't have a ton of issues getting into some of my looser pre-preg clothes (I hate jeans so screw those things).
I know I'll need some nursing tanks and such, but I'm apprehensive about buying lots of stuff.

I already stay in my PJs most days working from home, so I'm not super concerned about wardrobe. I'll have to reintroduce nursing tanks into my everyday wear as they are an absolute staple to a breastfeeding wardrobe for me, but otherwise probably won't invest much in any clothes. I have a lot of weight to lose this time around so I'll work on that before looking into upgrading my outfit choices. I will probably need to stick to maternity clothes for quite a bit until I lose some of this weight.

I basically just plan on wearing sweats and pjs until my maternity leave is over in January. I'm okay with being cozy and comfy all winter

Same as everyone my pp wardrobe is pj pants, yoga pants etc. what I found really helped with nursing is wearing a nursing tank and a cardigan or something like that. I'm not an under the shirt nurser.

PP OOTD: yoga pants/sweat pants/pajama pants (if I'm feeling fancy), nursing tank, cardigan/robe, slippers. Leggings and tunics if I have to wear "real" clothes.

Today I wrote up my job duties for the new guy. I wish I could just hand everything off and be done. 7 weeks to go, though!

Yoga pants and occasionally jeans if I'm feeling fancy leggings and a tunic. I'm not really planning on going anywhere that would require anything more than that. I have to lose a huge amount of weight so I'm not really going to go crazy with new clothes. The stuff I have in my closet should do for the foreseeable future.

PP clothing in the land of eternal tropical summer where I live = nursing tanks and yoga capris. Every.single.day. At least until I'm done with maternity leave. But probably on the weekends too until I stop breastfeeding. Postpartum work wardrobe is always a pain, because of pumping and worrying about leaking/changing breast pads. I'm going to try to work from home as much as possible to avoid having to wear anything professional for the first year 😅😅

Anyone have favourite nursing tank brands?? Bonus points if they're super long, because my torso is really long+giant boobs.
As much as I love yoga pants around the house, I just can't wear them out. My brain won't let me. With DD in preschool this year, I'll be out and about a fair amount. So I'll be doing jeans, but I definitely need to buy new ones. My prepregnancy ones were needing replaced anyway. Thankfully, I'll be able to buy my regular size, I think.

They're long (I have a really long torso too), not clingy in the midsection area, and they held up pretty well last time around. Will be breaking them out again

mommabakes, 2nd the GoM nursing tanks from target. I have a short torso but I've been wearing them at home now and it covers by torpedo belly! 😬 They also became my nightly pj top even after I stopped nursing DS and has held up well 3+ yrs later. Re PP clothes, yoga pants FTW! I've been living in my yoga shorts this summer. I don't care and will wear my pregnancy jeans after until I fit into my normal jeans if going out and I have several wrap/ nursing tops which I have and wore to work for ease of pumping but like RB said, nursing tanks, cardigan and or fleece jackets will be my go to outfits. Also Taitai, yay for your dad coming over to spend Christmas with you guys! Very excited for you. It's tough being away from family during times like that. I've always made it a point to visit my sister around CNY so we could have our own celebration since it's not observed here plus my nephews were born around that time so we have their bday parties too! Big festivities and good food during then!
