I think I overdid it today. My uterus is pretty achy. Our maybe it's just growing. Either way I'm using it as an excuse to get out of last minute chores for the night.

We don't usually keep ice cream in our house but I have always made an exception when I am pregnant. I don't have a sweet tooth so I eat some maaaaaybe once a week but even that is probably a stretch. DH has a bowl every night 😂😂 he makes a better pregnant lady than I do.

Adorable watermelonseedsweetsurprise happy birthday to your H, but OUCH! My son dropped something on his big toe once and it swelled so bad they needed to drill in his nail too, I felt so awful for him. Needing to do several fingers gives me the shudders, I hope all heals well! His toe did if it makes you feel any better! As for us, we are living the hotel life tonight. So H and I are currently just chilling in the dark with our phones and the TV while the kids sleep. Had a great day being able to check out the new stadium our pro team plays on, and let the kids play on the field which they thought was super cool. Playground and splash pad and all day hangout with my brother and sister too so it was a nice day! More on the go tomorrow before we go home again! Have a good weekend!

jessijean hope you and your DS are feeling better soon! clm585 not sure when DS stopped pooping at night, but if it makes you feel better he's a little over 4 and still wears trainers overnight for pee accidents, and he's been potty trained since 2.5. He sleeps so hard I don't want to disrupt it and figure someday he'll grow out of it.

It's funny that you mention your H being a Better pregnant lady than you because MH is the most pregnant dude. Last time around he gained every pound that I did. He lost about half of what he gained and I lost almost all of it. This time around it looks like he is doing it again. He eats all the things and says he's sooooo hungry all the time. 🙄

clm585 are you sure he is not awake when he is pooping? A lot of times when we put DD in a pullup for nap she will poop in it the second she wakes up out of convenience. We just took the leap to underwear naps and we make her go potty last thing before bed and first thing before she wakes up. Sometimes we still get the morning pullup poop though 🙄

It stormed like crazy here, they woke me up at 4 am or so. We could use the rain so I don't mind! The kiddos and I are staying inside and watching a lot of movies. I wish my 18 month old was more into movies like my 3 year old is 😂🙈 she never sits still and it can be exhausting!
We have another big road trip this week to TN for BIL's wedding. It is about 11 hours away, we are driving halfway and spending the night on the way out but we are going to try to drive back in one day. We might be psycho.

Do you prefer not to fly or not live close to an airport? Cost comes into play too I'm sure when you then may need to rent a car. Im not the best flyer. I get nervous. It's a good thing we fly a few times a year otherwise a long hiatus could stall me forever.

DH wants to go to the gun range this morning but I'm bitter and achy from yesterday so I don't want him to go. Partially because I know he's taking my pistol and I'm jealous he gets alone time for fun.

Throw in the cost of flying 4 of us and the layover time and it is kind of a toss-up! We have flown a few places this year already too. It is has just been a busy travel year between immediate family weddings and graduations!

Speaking of ice cream, my husband has 3 ice cream makers. We literally never don't have ice cream in the house. We probably have 4 flavours right now. He also has a waffle cone maker. I'm not going to lie, it's pretty amazing.

Helloooo. Slow day here today, we had church this morning & DD was a super crab when we got home. She's napping now & DH and I took advantage of it & DTD. We are the worst about prioritizing sex when I'm pregnant so glad we at least did t today lol. Tonight we have small group at church & I have to finish my grocery list.
I'm also sort of stressing bc DH brought up possibly moving DDs room to our guest room. We're on a corner & her window is the only one facing that side street which we don't like. The guest room window faces the front yard & all our neighbors so we both feel like that would be safer. Negatives would be the closet in there is a lot smaller & I wouldn't be able to fit her dresser in the closet like I can in her current room. Otherwise the room sizes are about the same. One benefit is I want to paint her room and if we did the switch I could paint before moving her in so I wouldn't disrupt her life at all. Ugh. Decisions!!

Question for all you who are good with painting furniture... I'm painting N's big girl bed white. It was like an oak color before. I did 3 coats of a white semigloss paint. Do I need a poly coat or is it fine as is? I'd really really REALLY like to be done painting it and move her in it tomorrow, but if it needs the poly coat for durability, I don't want to skimp out on it.

Ugh having the stomach flu while pregnant is miserable. Been up every hour with diarrhea and throwing up a couple times. At what point do I need to worry about dehydration for baby? I'm trying to drink water but I feel like is coming out faster than I can take some in.
Sorry for the TMI to start your day.

Pregnancy is weird. Jealous of your dark chocolate and strawberries. Two of my favorite things.

I've always been under the impression that baby will take what he/she needs from you, and leave you with the leftovers. So as long as you aren't feeling dizzy/lightheaded/weak, baby should be ok. Maybe try drinking some Gatorade or pedialyte?
