I was sure I already typed a reply this morning?
Were there duplicate threads?
Anyway. We're heading to IKEA this afternoon.
My BFF is going to the protest with me tomorrow night after all. Pete isn't thrilled and neither is BFF's wife. They don't get why we have to go.
Shrug.

Hi. I'm boring and have nothing going on but I wanted to say hi. Mostly just avoiding laundry and cleaning 🤷🏼♀️

Ugh. This is the last night of our vacation and I had to remove two tics from ds. One behind his ear, which was a nightmare. It was right before bedtime, Dd was hungry so we had two screaming kids. I felt horrible having to hurt ds to get the stupid tic out, I stayed calm during, but was shaking after, he was so upset... I'm seriously contemplating not letting the kids play outside tomorrow morning, I do not want to do this again 😞.

tgrimes I forget, was it Babyganics? The one in Canada was banana boat, but I used coppertone kids on her & neutrogena. Looks like I need to find a mineral one to use on her face. Weird thing is she wasn't in the sun that much. She really liked laying under the umbrella and drinking her pina colada.

I'm sick. I caught it from my boss. LO is also trying big boy underwear today. He needs to get use to it since daycare requires it.

I got out just after 10 and spent way too much time in Target. I stocked up on tanks though because they were on clearance with an additional 20% off using cartwheel. I also got some Dr. Browns bottles. I saw the package said it could help with spit up. Anyone use that brand to help with spit up? M2 spits up soooo much.

I don't know if it really helped w spit up but it definitely helped their digestion. Apparently it lets less air in

Busy weekend here. Last night a friend and I went to Lionel Ritchie/Mariah Carey and we had a blast. By the time I got home and decompressed it was 1 am when I finally fell asleep
Of course the kiddos were up at 6:30
Tonight my parents volunteered to babysit for the first time since we had B so MH and I are going out. I'm a little nervous bc S has been super attached to me and apparently gave MH a hard time last night. First thing he said to me this morning was 'I missed you so much when you weren't here!!!' And he hasn't left my side today except for a trip to get a haircut w MH (and that was for the lollipop he gets there)

Ouch tgrimes! Maybe it's just a reaction from a combination of the sunscreen on her ezema and being hot.

We use Babyganics, Honest, or California Baby and have never had an issue.

Poor M tgrimes! Coppertone is what I had that my cleaning lady objected to. I got a paraben free one and it works great but it leaves a film which I find gross but better than a burn.

Empire carpet was supposed to install our carpet today. 8-6 was the big time window and we were to get a call with a three hour window. I called them at 9 and was told they would be out at 2. Annoying, but ok. Long story short the guy shows up at 5:30 and says it is a 6-7hr job and he's willing to stay. I'm not ok with that. He showed me his call log how he was trying to call Empire all day to do my carpet and they said they couldn't get a hold of me. Meanwhile while I called Empire I was told twice the guys phone number wasn't working. Then the installer pointed out that he didn't think the color we picked would look good with the paint and I think he could be right. It has an almost yellow tint to it I didn't notice on the sample. But maybe it's ok? I rescheduled install for next Sat and got a $50 credit for the inconvenience but now I'm thinking about bagging the whole thing because I have color doubt. Uggg! Here is what we picked and the paint color If we decide to go elsewhere it will take weeks to measure and get it installed and we have a couch sitting in a warehouse waiting to be delivered. So WWN13 do? Keep the install next week? I got a guarantee it would be first at 8am. Or go elsewhere and pick new carpet? Empire was also $500 less than Lowes for the same quality.

Can you change the color? If you can cancel this late without a fee I would ask of you can change colors this late in the game.

wedding I definitely see yellow in that carpet. Did he have the roll with him to put it up against the wall colour? I feel like basements are hard because of the lighting.

If you have windows like that picture where you showed us the color of the paint, you might see the brightness of the golden yellow in the carpet. Maybe they can change the color of the carpet for you because you've rescheduled for a later date ?

The basement is definitely darker and we loved the color when we had the samples. Dh wants to move forward and thinks it will look fine. The couch is a dark brown microfiber so I'm hoping that will tone down any yellowness.

Coppertone didn't work when Cadence and I went to the beach. She still got red and I had to put aloe on her to make sure it didn't hurt.

Huh. I've only used Coppertone on our kids and never had a problem. Obviously C hasn't been out as much but B has never burned or had a reaction. wedding hate to join the chorus but I see yellow too. I'll say this...if you're seeing it in a small sample, it's going to be magnified when you do the whole room. Might be worth double checking to make sure that's the one you want.

N never spits up, j did, but he overate all the time. Tons of parts to wash, but I don't mess with something that's working. Hope they work for you!

nam2013 is Lyme's disease carried by ticks over there? Ticks scare the living daylights out of me. Good job at getting them off quickly. Do you have bug spray? Our daycare uses coppertone pure and simple for the whole school (we all had to bring in a bottle). It kind of makes Ns skin break out, but I send Aveeno for her which is a lot creamier. Hope she feels better tgrimes

I can barely move from my class today. It was Pure Ryde studio and they had a pilates reformer class, which I've never done. Holy moly. I get why people love it, it kicks your butt.
I then cleaned the tub and we went to the pool this evening, which was super fun. Glad we waited until the last weekend we are home before the end of summer, gah. Next year..

tallb yes they do, not all but some. They scare me too. That's why we check out kids throughout the day and especially thorough before bed. I noted down the places in my calendar and set an alarm to check the places for three months. And yes I have a bug spray, but apparently this deetless one isn't doing the trick...

lahdeedah I think some kids a just spitty so picking a bottle that's supposed to help might be futile. I feel like it's just marketing.
