One thing about the vacuuming that's cool. I realized that I could listen to audiobooks while vacuuming. I've listened to almost two books since I realized this.

It is pouring like nothing I've seen before.
So much so that it is now pouring on my desk.......

Betweenthelines, that's.. not good. Sounds like time to clock out and go home. You know, you don't want that sangria to go bad.

Anyone want to talk about my (small) parenting dilemma?
Little Bones has mentioned a couple times he wants to share a room with Littlest. Earlier this week, I was solo parenting and nighttime was going back. Short version is I put Littlest in his crib to figure it out. Little got upset and wanted to sleep on Littlest's floor. Whatever. Everyone stopped crying and fell asleep. Today Little asks if it's Littlest's birthday yet. Turns out he wants Littlest to get bigger so he doesn't sleep in a crib that way they can share a room (we've said no room sharing until Littlest is "bigger.") But the kicker is it's because he wants to be able to sleep in Littlest bed with him.
I think it's super cute. I love it. But it makes me feel- weird. If the kids want to share a room, DH and I are all for it. I just wish the reason wasn't so Little could snuggle with Littlest.

That water was also running onto. First thing I did was unplug it and people are annoyed that it's no longer on. I'd like to not get electrocuted today, thanks.

skinandbones, is there a particular reason you don't want them to share a bed for now? I don't know how I'd feel because I only have one, I'm just wondering. I think room-sharing can be good, although I can guess that Little will leave his bed the instant you shut the door to go snuggle Littlest.

jedi, sleeping has been going well! He's been staying in the bed and sleeping in a little bit longer. All 4 molars are mostly through so I'm hoping the worst is behind us!

skinandbones my sister used to want the share a bed with me because she was scared and having nightmares. Is he possible he might be scared I doubt it. It's every night. Here lately he's been crawling into our bed at 5:30am. I'm not sure if this is going to last or just a phase.

skinandbones , is there a particular reason you don't want them to share a bed for now? I don't know how I'd feel because I only have one, I'm just wondering. I think room-sharing can be good, although I can guess that Little will leave his bed the instant you shut the door to go snuggle Littlest. Part of it Littlest doesn't get a vote. Little is just kind of deciding that Littlest is going to be his to snuggle. The other part is my mind just goes to dark places. But to be very clear, they are situations I've made up and not a result of anything Little has done.

I think it would be best to keep them in separate rooms then if that is what your most comfortable with. How you can actually achieve that, I'm sorry, I have no advice. I am just coming out of sleep refusal hell, so I apparently don't know what I'm doing.

Betweenthelines you could just eat the fruit out of it for a snack if you can't wait to try it. There's totally no alcohol in the fruit. Easily the drunkest I have ever been is from alcohol soaked fruit. Long story short: if you've been participating in an athletic event all day, eat normal food. Not everclear soaked pineapple. I was too hungry to function.

skinandbones, my guess is also that it may have to do with Little being scared. When I was a kid I spent probably a year, leaving my room and going to my younger sister's and sleeping on the floor because I was scared. (Unbeknownst to my parents, dad's uncle had told me some really scary stories that left me terrified to sleep alone.) So, even if hey are going to room share, probably a good idea to figure out if there's something that's making him afraid to be alone at night.

We met with a lawyer this morning to draft wills and estate planning. Too much adult thinking for me.
Working and hoping to take it easy the rest of the day. First Tri fatigue has me by the nards.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes! We ended up bagging the hike and we'll do it tomorrow so DH can join an added bonus is that there's an air show close to where we'll be so there will be plenty to see! DS worked so hard on the cake, and it turned out cute! We spent the morning at a park with friends, then we had lunch at McDonald's (heyyyy playplace!). It's a good day
