Currently my child is picking the seeds off the top of a bun, throwing them on the floor and pecking at them like a chicken. Then he stands up and shouts "YAY!!". 😂 that's hilarious! Crazy kids.

I love my Pedi. Love love love. I wish I could send him all to you. Zero wait time in his waiting room and I swear he can read minds because he touches on so much during our discussion that I never really have to ask him about any concerns. He's interested to see what the results of her prick test at the allergist yields tomorrow. Her levels came back super low. Still out of range, but he's super hopeful that all of them are able to be grown out of or even desensitized over the next few months. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
And then after M's nap I met H over at a massive office space that just came onto the market. We are busting at the seams at our current place and desperately need somewhere bigger. It's really taken me aback a bit because I'm just so proud of my H and thankful at the direction our lives have gone. Moving here was such a big gamble. We had to take a loan out just to cover expenses and deposits. I really hope H can sit down for a minute and appreciate what he's accomplished for himself (and by default his family).
Andplusalso there's a vault for some reason and I've already called dibs on it for my office. It's soundproof and has a TV. Score.

So apparently leap #7 is around the corner. How did that come so fast!? 9 more days 😭😭😭 M is so much fun in between leaps. I'm dreading it so hard. When the last leap alarm went off H and I kind of laughed at it because she was in such a happy spot and thought that she wouldn't be affected by it. WRONG. And this next one is soooo long.

It says 9 days for us too because it's based on due date, but C was born 9 days early and I always see signs early. Like his fussiness with bedtime has been about a week now. He's been so happy and cute during the day so I'm not looking forward to cranky baby again.

Our neighbors came outside, turned on the light and was staring into our pool.
Look fucker, the 3 yo is still up and we're rocking out to Disney music. Get over it. It's before 9 and she's not whining.

I don't know whether to be proud or should be sad that M can tell me what song it is after hearing 3 notes...
The pianist in me is happy, the mom in me cringes, lol.

sophiegrace that's awesome about the allergies! I hope she grows out of them! I was under the impression the peanut was one that couldn't be grown out of? I hope I am wrong because that would be great! I always thought B would always have that allergen.

I hope I am wrong because that would be great! I always thought B would always have that allergen. My friends daughter had a sensitivity to peanuts as a baby but had outgrown it when they retested her a couple years later. I also remember a story in the news years ago about doctors building up immunity very very slowly, like starting with a speck. I think it was just an experimental treatment and don't know what came out of it.

I hope I am wrong because that would be great! I always thought B would always have that allergen. So peanut is the only one that gave the Pedi pause, but I guess if she does react to it today she will be sent for secondary blood work specific to peanut allergies. It tests to see which part of the peanut you're allergic to. One of those parts automatically means you will have for life, but positive for the other three indicates the possibility of growing out of it. Did B get extra blood work done? Or maybe they could have included that from the beginning?

Not knowing if their kid is going to go into anaphylaxis or not and all. It was too new when I was younger and kiwi wasn't an option yet. I should ask if I can still try it out or if it's only something they do in kids.

I'm glad it's an option but yeah I can't imagine how scary that is.

vino that picture is precious! I'm so glad your H is home safe and sound! You are an amazing mom and wife for keeping your family strong and safe while he was gone. It's not an easy job and I'm always amazed how people do it. My H is gone for only a day or two at a time and sometimes that feels like a challenge.

vino Did B talk his ear off the whole way home? Lol, yep! Everything from his soccer medal, coach Andy and coach Nick, the lawn mower guys cutting over the new grass so he was mad, a bug bite he got back in May, the car got hit on Canada Day-but it was ok because it was an accident and everyone was ok, and on and on... It was adorable.

He got blood work done when he was 9 months old but that was initial blood work and he hasn't had any since. I will have to ask the allergist about this in October when we go again!
