hey!
Just finished up at the endocrinologist appointment. She seemed very pleased with my current meal plan and was confident I would have no issues at all with the GD. Still have to meet the dietician on Thursday and get my monitor but hopefully everything gets controlled.
Stayed up way too late last night watching bachelor in paradise, is anyone else watching??

hiimjamie when I was pregnant with my son, I was about 9-10 weeks along when it happened, I was "weeding" in our garden and didn't realize there was a poison ivy root. I of course wasn't wearing gloves and was sweating like crazy and scratched my back. Afterwards when I took a shower the oil apparently went down my thighs and back and everywhere.... It was the most awful case of poison ivy (I had never previously reacted to it) but the doc said apparently the hormones of pregnancy can make it even worse than it would be if exposure happened when not pregnant. I LITERALLY feel your pain, I hope the steroids help!!!!

I just referenced that scene last night to my DH! We weren't actually talking about poison ivy but other allergies. Yuck yuck yuck. I hate it all! |

Pro-tip: don't get poison ivy on your face/near your eye. It swells up like a b----. Finally got a steroid prescription from a doc today. We leave for Iceland tomorrow. I have a lot to do before then. We're about to go pick up stuff at the store and then I will start packing. My mom is going to get DS for a few hours this afternoon/evening so that will help. Way late, this happened to h when we were dating. It was awful. He woke up hardly able to open his eyes due to the swelling. 🙈 |

Been MIA for the past few weeks. Been having some mental health issues. My antidepressants don't seem to be working. I know it's because of the crazy hormones this time around, but it just really sucks.
We should be getting our family pictures from this weekend back soon. DS was a complete terrible 2 mess so I feel like there aren't that many for her to edit lol SS cooperated for once though, so that was nice. As soon as we get the images back we will announce on social media, our important family and friends already know.

I feel like I read something about a date rape-y type of situation on bachelor in paradise?? Am I making this up?? A girl claimed she was too drunk to consent to messing around but video evidence proved otherwise. That's the gist anyway. |

jessijean I hope your OB appointment went well yesterday! It did! Pretty short and sweet. Vitals, measure, doppler, questions? See you next month. I did talk to her about my concerns about being on such a high dose of seizure med and she said all of the formation type processes are complete now so if anything might be affected it would just be growth rate at this time which they will obviously keep an eye on that. She also said that she will call me with the results of my anatomy scan since my next appointment is like 3.5 weeks after the results should be in. I was happy to hear that because I didn't want to wait forever to hear about it. |
