I STILL have thrush on my nips. I mean WTF I haven't even started trying to breastfeed and my boobs are already in protest. I only plan to pump again with this one but if it's not cleared up by the time she's born I'll have to pump and dump. My doctor prescribed APNO but 2 of the three ingredients are Cat C so I don't want to use it. I am going in tomorrow to see what else they can give me. Pretty sure Nystatin is a no-no too, though that never worked for me anyway. Why is nothing easy?

I have some real glamorous stuff going on: hemorrhoids and cankles
My feet have been slightly swollen off and on but tonight they are massive.

Braxton Hicks like crazy, mkrupar! I've been having them for a while but they've been really ramping up recently.

::fingers crossed:: no BH yet. I never had them with DS, and didn't have contractions until well after I had pitocin soooo....not really sure what to expect here.

Hip pain has set in though 😕
I started sleeping with one of our long king pillows between my entire leg length and that has helped significantly.

Everything is swollen I'm keeping hydrated but have started to get major hot flashes and some dizzy spells too. Also SPD pain, but that's just par for the course anymore :/

BH, swollen feet, hip pain. And crazy hormones/emotions. If I start to cry it escalates to ugly cry quickly and will. not. stop.

Ladies with swelling keep an eye on it. Sudden unexplained swelling, especially of the face and neck, can be a sign of pre-e.
Also talk to you doc if swelling doesn't abate overnight from being off your feet.

mkrupar or anyone else, is it normal for one foot to be more swollen than the other? My feet were massive last night and only some better this morning.

Also talk to you doc if swelling doesn't abate overnight from being off your feet. This is what I'm worried about! It's hard to differentiate normal summer swelling with pregnancy on top vs. Pre-e. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it next appt.

racegurl87, I was consumed with fatigue this past weekend! I was a useless blob and felt awful about it. Thank goodness it passed and am now back to normal w/e that is these days.

Hip pain, lightning crotch, tired, out of breath trying to carry DS around. The worst though is when the baby braces himself against my hips to push up against my ribs. Like right now.

Ok now I'm stabby. The doctor I saw today doesn't think I have thrush (thanks but I've had it many many times and it's unmistakable) and then she called in Nystatin which 1. I told her I've used before and it doesn't work and 2. Is pregnancy category 'C' and 3. If she doesn't think it's thrush, why would she prescribe that?
I think the universe is telling me to skip the breastfeeding this time around. I am ok with this, I was on the fence anyhow given the issues I had last time.

bootsorhearts1 that is frustrating! If she doesn't think it is thrush, what does she think it is? I'm so sorry you're dealing with this on top of all the other glamorous things pregnancy does to our bodies.

mkrupar or anyone else, is it normal for one foot to be more swollen than the other? My feet were massive last night and only some better this morning. Mine swelled pretty evenly when I had normal pregnancy swelling last time. They never fully went back to normal overnight, but the swelling was definitely reduced from end of day swelling. This time around because I'm on limited activity I've been able to pretty much avoid swelling, so if it happens unexpectedly now, I'll know I need to go in ASAP.

The weather has been so craptastic and can't make up it's mind my head is all over the place. I get barometric pressure headaches, and each one I'm like, "is this a pre-e headache, or from the weather?"

Braxton Hicks, heartburn, gaining all the lbs, peeing all night, and taking a while to get comfortable before falling asleep and randomly waking up obscenely early for the day.
*whispers* But for the most part, I'm feeling okay these days. *hides*

chitownsully 🙋🏼 It was never this bad with DD, it's getting progressively worse, not painful yet but just uncomfortable. + whatever to swelling. It started this weekend and I was like not this early and chugged all the water and so far this week I've been good. I've also been at work in A/c so that also helps. Last pregnancy around 35 weeks I started retaining all the water and swelling. I'm trying to hold off on that as long as possible. Inside DD decides that just as I get comfortable to fall asleep that it's time to party, that is the only time I miss having an anterior placenta.

Oh also re: swelling, my last OB said aside from water, consuming protein should help too. Protein helps strengthen the muscles, which helps keep fluids from settling in them (I'm sure she had a much more scientific explanation, but that's what I remember).

😱 I just got out of the shower and noticed that my belly is fuzzy with short hairs! I think I remember this with DS but totally forgot about it. My babies are turning me into a monkey!
