How far along are you? 31+3 Any concerns? How are you feeling? I had placenta previa so today was the follow up to see if it moved. It did! What kind of appointment? u/s and OB How did it go? Really well! Baby is head down, strong heart beat, and weighs approximately 4 pounds 10 ounces. Next appointment: 36 weeks! My OB has a program to take weight and blood pressure measurements at home through at app. The app then sends the info to the OB. Most of my appointments have been 6 weeks apart. It has been so nice! After 36 weeks I'll go back at 38, 39 and 40

How far along are you? 31.5 weeks
Any concerns? How are you feeling? All usual 3rd tri stuff
What kind of appointment? Regular pregnancy appt
How did it go? Looooong - they were running behind and those little rooms are really boring to wait in
Any feels/vents/etc? I think I mentioned this before but they don't tell me anything directly (weight/BP/measurements/etc) unless I ask directly. Not sure why but I like to know my stats...
Learn anything new?
Next appointment: 2 weeks. I feel like I've been pregnant forever at this point though.

How far along are you? I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow
Any concerns? How are you feeling? My blood pressure has been really low, and my whole self hurts, but nothing big.
What kind of appointment? Regular midwife checkup.
How did it go? Fine. I'm always impressed with how well DS does with waiting for the check up.
Any feels/vents/etc? I'm tired of people not believing me when i tell them i had an 8 pound baby vaginally. Why would someone lie about that? I know I'm small, but confirming 3 times that i said 8 pounds is weird.
Learn anything new? Baby was transverse today, but at this point, that doesn't matter at all.
Next appointment: 4 weeks

How far along are you? I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow
Any concerns? How are you feeling? The SPD really is painful. I had an "I've fallen and I can't get up" moment today and needed DH to help me get off the floor. That's what I get for trying to clean up spilled glitter from DS' art project...I also feel the baby is sitting sooooo low - it's pretty apparent in my HDBD pic. I don't think that is helping the SPD pain.
What kind of appointment? Regular bi-weekly MFM visit. Ultrasound, 1 hr glucose test (again...), and Zika test (again....said in Forest Gump voice).
How did it go? Aside from drinking the horrible glucose sugary sea brine sludge, it was fine. Glucose results came back as normal. Baby is head down and in position. Will find out about Zika tomorrow.
Any feels/vents/etc? I'm kind of irritated my MFM made me do the 1 the glucose test again. The baby was measuring big at our last appointment, which is why the doctor wanted to test again this week. But I wasn't even close to failing the first 1 hr (I clocked in at a 115 at 27 weeks), so it was kind of annoying to do it again. I know he is being cautious with all my complications though, so I shouldn't fault him. I just really hate the drink 😩
Learn anything new? Not really - still have a little internal bleeding, so modified bedrest must continue. More of the same. Hoping my waters hold for 6 more weeks so I can reach full term!
Next appointment: 2 weeks

chitownsully, yay for your placenta moving! danvers, same here with the non sharing of info unless I ask. Guess it depends on what the office protocol is? Taitai, Bubs is also hanging low and has been for a while. FX and and sending all the good vibes to bubs staying put for at least 6 weeks!

How far along are you? 31+3
Any concerns? How are you feeling? No concerns. Just feeling...big.
What kind of appointment? Check-up with midwife.
How did it go? Great, nothing new really. Fundal height measured right on track - a big difference from being 2 weeks ahead last visit. At my next appointment they will offer me a growth scan since he measured way ahead at the last scan, but we'll talk about it more at my next visit.
Any feels/vents/etc? Nope, just so ready to meet this little man!
Learn anything new? I found out a friend of mine who delivered this morning had a 4th degree tear with her first and did not tear at all with her second. Anecdotally, that gives me some comfort for this time around (since I had a bad tear last time).
Next appointment: August 31st - last biweekly checkup before changing to weekly!

How far along are you? 32+4 Any concerns? How are you feeling? For the most part doing pretty good and trying my best to stay off my feet which has been a challenge the last 2 weeks. I am getting antsy about getting stuff done. What kind of appointment? A routine OB earlier this week. How did it go? We discussed a list of things we couldn't get to the last appt. We scheduled and discussed my RCS! and I cant' believe it's coming up fast. Also I found out that the dietician/nutritionist gave me the wrong threshold for my blood sugar monitoring which was why the last appt. my OB said nothing to worry about so I was perplexed because I saw a few spikes over the threshold which really wasn't the case at all. So basically I am all in the clear yay! Any feels/vents/etc? Just annoyed with the nutritionist which really caused me so much anxiety over my blood sugars! Learn anything new? I lost 1 lb which to me is concerning since the last growth check, bubs has dropped in growth. Since I met with the nutritionist, I've been cutting out refined carbs and it's being replaced with full fat items so I am like ok then! I mean I go through a 32floz tub of full milk yogurt single handedly a week and eating all the cheese for snacks. Also I'll be getting a GBS swipe next appt. even though I'll be getting a RCS. Other than that, the usual told to keep on taking it easy and stay off my feet. Next appointment: 2 weeks. Routine OB

How far along are you? 32w, 2d
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Nothing much - little concerned about returning to work next week and not having as many opportunities to rest
What kind of appointment? Bi-weekly checkup
How did it go? I met with the midwife in the group and she's very nice
Any feels/vents/etc? N/A
Learn anything new? I'm measuring 35w so I'm returning for an u/s tomorrow morning. I make big babies, but they hadn't measured so far ahead, so I'm a little nervous.
Next appointment: u/s tomorrow

39 weeks which is like 7 more weeks but it sure feels like it's coming up fast. I am getting anxious that I haven't really done much of anything and our house is still under renovation with stuff everywhere! I think a lot of it has to do with eh fact that I need to get my cerclage removed at 37 weeks which is about 5 weeks more and I was told my membranes could break during removal since it's just behind the stitches. Hoping that won't happen and I can hang on until my scheduled RCS eSaveSaveSave

How far along are you? 32+4
Any concerns? How are you feeling? What am I not concerned about would be the better question. 😕
What kind of appointment? Regular OB followed by NST/BPP at the MFM
How did it go? As expected. The OB appointment was quick. We talked about including a tubal ligation with my RCS, and she noted it in my chart. We are 100% done after this pregnancy. Even if I wanted a third child, physically I don't think my body could handle it. I need to see if they need me to sign a concent form now. The MFM mentioned in some instances of I'm sent directly from her office to delivery because baby needs out now, they won't do the tubal because they consider it a decision made under duress because of the stress of the situation.
NST/BPP went well. Baby was moving fine. We actually saw him grabbing at his feet. Met with the MFM after to discuss my BP meds. We've added a mid-day dose that is 100mg higher than my morning & evening dose. I am spilling more protein in to my urine than my baseline taken from the last 24 hour test, so I've definitely got super-imposed pre-eclampsia with chronic hypertension.
I have to send my BP Logs to MFM on Monday so she can see if the change in dosage is helping. I have to have weekly blood work done to be sure the pre-e isn't getting worse. And depending on how next week goes, we may have to move to twice weekly NST/BPP Scans. She's still hopeful we can make it past 34 weeks, but with everything that's happened this week, it seems it may not be much past that when they decide to deliver. I'm probably looking at getting steroid shots for lung development in the next couple of weeks.
Any feels/vents/etc? Stressed. Exhausted. Emotionally drained.
Learn anything new: re the steroid shots: they recently updated the guidelines. Before, they wouldn't give them past 34 weeks, but now they'll give them up to 36+6, but they won't do a double dose. So like last pregnancy, I had them at 31 weeks when they thought they may be inducing me then, then again at 34 weeks when they did decide to induce. If they're given after 34 weeks, they'll only give them once.
MFM said I can try taking a magnesium supplement daily to help with my headaches she said 50% of people who do this report a decrease in headaches. It sure would be nice if it helped with the stupid barometric headaches

That is a lot to take in mkrupar and I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this. FX the extra BP meds help and you can keep baby cooking for as long as possible.

mkrupar It is so understandable that you are feeling emotionally drained and stressed with all of this going on. I'll be hoping that your pre-e and blood pressure stay manageable as long as absolutely possible. I hope you get those steroid shots soon too, just to get the lung development going. Big hugs. duskymonkey I'm so glad your cerclage has been holding. Fingers crossed your water doesn't break upon removal and you can make it to your RCS date. You are right - these next weeks are going to go by so fast.

mkrupar ((hugs)) so much going on at time when you'd just like everything to be carefree and easy. Take some time for yourself, sleep when you can, and we'll all keep everything crossed for you. How stressful but glad baby was moving and grooving.

Thanks for the love ladies. I'm not really surprised, as this is how my last pregnancy developed (with the addition of the GD). I had just hoped we had taken enough steps early on to help prevent some of this.
Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing for everyone moving forward.

duskymonkey, what happens if you go into labor before your RCS? I will be an RCS (for different reasons) but I kinda wondered about this. mkrupar, hopefully baby can stay cooking. FX for you!

bootsorhearts1 , at this point, doc said she'll put me on procardia to stall labour as long as possible and see how my body responds. Also a decision will be made to remove my cerclage in which case I would have to be on bedrest in hospital again for as long as possible to keep bubs inside. Vaginal birth is too risky for me so basically whatever needs to be done to stall contractions until they can get me into the OR is the goal. Lol! I'm like the opposite and curious what going straight into a CS is like? My sis said it felt so much easier even with recovery so I' should talk to her about it. lets just hope that all of us can get to our scheduled edd whatever procedure that is!

duskymonkey, ah yes I had a planned C with DS it was kinda nice to know the date and roughly the time, though our 8AM C-section ended up being an 11AM because we got pushed out behind a few emergency Cs. I was so hungry afterwards, I could have eaten half a horse.

((Hugs)) @mkrupkar hang in there! I will keep praying for your pre-e to stay at bay so baby can keep cooking. Interesting about the steroid shot change reco because I also remember being told 2 years ago when I had PTL that they won't do them past 34 weeks (I had mine at 30w4d and second dose the next day.)
You and baby are going to be okay!

You and baby are going to be okay! Yeah, they still do the two doses, 24 hours apart, but if you happen to have them prior to 34 weels, and don't deliver immediately, they wear off, so now you can get a second round up to 36+6. If you get a first round after 34 weeks, that's the only round you get.

I had my growth U/s this morning after measuring three weeks ahead this week: just carrying a big baby. I know u/s measurements can be off a lb in either direction, but my 32w3d little guy was measuring 36w and 6 and a half pounds. So, there's that. DS1 was 8lb5oz at 37w and DS2 was 9lb3oz at 38w, and this one is on course to be bigger.
We've already talked a 39w induction because DS2 had shoulder dystocia - I doubt this changed anything, but the dr will be reviewing the u/S and getting back to me.

How far along are you? 31+2
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Feeling okay, pelvic pain is better this week. Just very tired.
What kind of appointment? Routine OB
How did it go? Good- baby girl is butt up but her head is not in my pelvis, it's to the side. There is a chance she can rotate. HR, BP, and such all normal.
Any feels/vents/etc? I'm sending baby all the head down vibes and pep talks. I really want to avoid a RCS. I know there is plenty of time for her to get into position but it's just giving me a little anxiety.
Learn anything new? Nope
Next appointment: August 31st- ultrasound and OB appointment.

How far along are you? 31 weeks
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Ok. Generally large, but ok.
What kind of appointment? Regular check up
How did it go? Same old same old. Fundal height is measuring a week behind but I was last check too so ::shrug::
Any feels/vents/etc? Nada
Learn anything new? Nada
Next appointment: I have another ultrasound with the MFM in 10 days to recheck baby's kidneys. One was dialated last time. I hope they kind of do a full check again though, we've had a lot of soft-Down's markers and I want to keep checking to see if anything else is abnormal.
Otherwise, regular check again in 2 weeks.
