And the people?
I think I wasted most of it sitting on my bottom. But this morning I got up at 6 to help out at a fire across the county.
What y'all got going on this week?

Overall we have a quiet week here so I'm hoping to get a bunch of stuff done before the older kids start school at the end of the month and I start after Labor Day. We still have to get school supplies and I want to do a big bulk shopping trip so I don't have to worry about that for a while. I still need to make some freezer meals too since I never got around to them last week. Fingers crossed for a productive week.

Sort of a busy week here. My first ultrasound is today and my oldest starts his senior year this week too. Lots of emotions right now!
Totally random, but I've been craving hot wings for about 2 weeks now. DH brought some home for me last night and they were amazing.

not much going on here this week besides new house stuff. ugh.
had a pretty good, slightly busy weekend with family get togethers. finally told h's family. they weren't even a little suspicious. we will have 3 new babies again on his side (same thing last time too!) i'm excited that these kids will have cousins close in age to grow up with.
i seemed to have turned the corner on the eating front. i feel like a bottomless pit. i may have had 2 pulled pork sandwiches for breakfast. 😬

This weekend was my H's birthday so I'm exhausted from all the celebration. We went to a Phillies game Friday, had dinner with our parents Saturday and then went out to dinner and got SO MUCH sushi last night.
I really want to take a week or so off of work and just relax. I don't feel like working.

I'm literally counting down the days until I'm out of first tri. I want to have a bump and an US pic and tell all my friends. I hate feeling chubby and tired.

I survived my parents visit this weekend. My mother thankfully didn't talk too much about my being pregnant and we all kept pretty busy with fun stuff. Last night, after they had left, I did a charity workout (my trainer is fundraising for a marathon and sponsored a bootcamp class for donations) with a friend and had so much more energy than I've had lately. It felt awesome! Then picked up sushi burritos for H and I to eat on the couch after DS went to bed. Then polished off the rest of a blueberry pie that was leftover from the weekend. Oh man it was heaven. Now I'm back to my desk counting out almonds for my healthy snacks and feeling crabby about it, lol.
I'm just trying to make it to Wednesday, which is my first OB appointment. Its been a couple of weeks since my last appointment with the RE and I'm definitely starting to feel anxious again.

mattsgirl2004 I had that craving last week! Picked up some BWW for a coworker and my mouth was watering the entire ride back to the office smelling it. I don't even like buffalo sauce! Quenched my craving on Friday but reading you post about it, I'm craving it again😂

Yes this week better be productive because we are going to be on vocation for 2 1/2 weeks starting Saturday! Jealous! Enjoy! H and I were just chatting about how I don't have any more PTO scheduled until the week between Christmas and NYE. Gotta start saving it up for maternity leave☹️

I've already tried to figure out how much leave I'll have by my due date. Spoiler alert: it's not much. I was able to WFH quite a bit last time and plan to do the same since DD will be at daycare. Hopefully this LO is as cooperative as she was 😬 I started at 2 weeks postpartum last time - just a half day here and there o keep things from getting out of control and it was really nice. I did make it VERY clear it was a "don't call me, I'll call you" thing though.

Gotta start saving it up for maternity leave☹️ I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my PTO. At my company you get paid out for everything you accrue but don't use from the beginning of the year until you go out for maternity leave. Last time I didn't use any and got a big check. This time I'm thinking I'm already not going to get much $$ since it's only March, so I may as well use the time. Last time I started working after 6 weeks so I could WFH for 6 weeks. Not doing that this time! I'm taking all 12 weeks so that's going to be another big budget hit. Ugh

Leaf 🌱 I just tried to do the math and I think I'll have about 5w paid, as long as I don't use any PTO between now and then🙄 I also have STD starting @2w and paid 60% until 6w (vaginal delivery) or 8w (csection delivery). I'm considering leaving work 2w before my due date to have some time with my DD before new baby gets here. The numbers make my head spin but I do know I'll be out at least the 12w after baby gets here!

cornpop if you're going early in the year I can see how it won't matter too much if you take time before. Good for you for taking the 12w once baby gets here. You're a superwoman for going back @ 6w last time!

I'm trying to figure out PTO/maternity leave as well. I will have a ton of hours accrued by the end of this year but I can only carry over 56. I'm asking for an exception, but the board will have to decide and I've been informed they have never allowed this in the past. So I suppose we will take a trip this fall maybe. MH has been wanting to go to Boston, which will be nice in the fall, but I'm open to recommendations for a 5-7 day trip!

Today has been ok. I had my appointment and I guess I Od late because the baby is measuring 10 days later than my due date but everything is consistent including the heart rate of 85bpm. So this puts me at 6.2 versus 7.6. I'm a little weirded out by all this but the doctor was very positive and even scheduled another U/S for two weeks to give me piece of mind. H is feeling good about everything but I'm still cautious. Seeing the heartbeat helped but my loss was at 6.6 last time so I feel like I still can't relax. We are traveling to visit H's family this week and I was planning on telling them since we'd be over 8 weeks and we're staying with his pregnant sister and we live 14 hours away but I really don't want to now. H is excited to share the news and the idea just gives me a pit in my stomach but I guess I have to get over it because it's important to him.

DD has had a fever since sat and complaining that her throat hurts. Took her to the dr this morning and she has strep. I've been pretty lucky that she just turned 4, and this is only the second time she's been sick enough to be on abx.

I would rather carry over the hours, but I guess if I can't a vacation wouldn't be the worst thing

It is my last week off before going back to work. I just got some Diclegisis from the OB because my nausea and vomiting is getting worse. I hope it helps because work is going to be terrible as miserable as I feel.
On top of the feeling miserable my dog had to be put down today.
