I was hoping M's earlier bedtime wouldn't mean early wake up on the weekends. Hahahahaha. He was up at 730. I know 730 is not early to most of you, but he usually will sleep until 9 on weekends. He watched his shows while I slept a little more and then demanded pancakes. I got up to fix them and he runs in as I'm stirring the mix and got really upset I didn't let him pour the mix. I wasn't in the mood, so I was kind of hard on him about he can't always do everything. He immediately starting crying. MOTY here. I'm just tired.
MIL will be here this afternoon. MH might be home early this evening. If he is, I'm leaving. I just need an hour or two to myself.

Hang in there lahdeedah Early mornings and the demands for 'helping' are a buzz kill. Add in the constant commentary and we're in the same house. FX your husband is home early and you can have some alone time to recharge.

Has anyone gone to see Despicable Me 3? Decent? I don't need Oscar-worthy, just something to get us out of the house that's indoors. B has asked, "What are we going to do today?" approximately 87 times since he got up. Kid likes a plan. I haven't seen the movie but our B's are kindered spririts, mine wakes up at an energy level of 24 when I'm dragging at a 7, asking if it's a stay home day and 'what are we doing' over and over. No kid, I do not want to play basketball with you at 7:19am, sorry.

Hey. We had my grandma's funeral this morning. It was kind of awkward. Then we went to lunch at a terrible buffet. Now I'm working to get S down for a nap, H is watching a movie and DH left for his guys weekend.

vino and lahdeedah oh the "helping"--I try to encourage it but like y'all said, not before 8 am. I actually set B up with a show and his morning chocolate milk when he got up at 6:45, and then went back to bed myself; my room is right off the den so he wasn't completely abandoned or anything, but I just needed a bit more shut-eye today.

We went to IKEA yesterday and ordered Josie's new bed. Now I'm spiraling on throw pillows and comforters and blankets. She of course has told me that she wants a pink glitter pillow with a pink spread and a pink blanket that has pink ruffles. Thankfully, thete are some options out there that make it not as hideous as my last sentence sounds. Also, I love IKEA. I want to spend a day there without kids just buying everything. Come visit me when my house is just about done, we can do some damage together. Lol.

Morning ladies! It's raining cats and dogs over here (to British? Or do Americans use this expression too?). Took the kids to an aquarium and wanted to visit a great toy store my mom told us about, but apparently stores in Sweden close at three on Saturday... wtf. Ds took it like a trooper 'it's not your fault mommy, we'll find another one soon'. He's getting so big and he talks sooo much, the questions are just to cute. One last day in this house tomorrow. Monday we're traveling to vimmerby, the land of Astrid Lindgren & Pippi longstocking. Have a good Saturday! Pippi was my Nick name growing up. My uncle called me that all the time. My mom finally bought me the movie when I was 6 and I wore the thing out lol.

Zoo was fun except dh was in a mood. I kept having to tell him no one cares that the boys are loud when we're outside at the zoo with 3000 other kids..

We went and saw a matinee of Despicable Me 3 and it was good; in fact, B declared it "a great movie" so there you have it I've only seen bits and pieces of the first 2 but I feel like they always have a good soundtrack. This was the same had a lot of fun 80s references and music. C does really well in movies; not sure if that is something to be happy about or ashamed of (Is big screen time a thing?) but it definitely makes it easier when I'm solo with the kids.

Dude had a blast. L was so cute saying how he missed him so much and Atticus said he had so much fun playing with him. Really glad they got to visit. We checked out the zoo since they only rescue and rehab. It was more like a sanctuary.

Dh got home around noon today. He's been a grump ever since. Normally he doesn't get hangovers but apparently he had too much fun last night. It was a friends 30th birthday and they had a party bus and went to a few small town bars. I am not regretting my decision to stay home and get a good nights sleep.

We're here. The flight....was not delightful. H was awesome. M cried the first hour. Like scream crying. It was awesome.
She's been horrible today.
*poof
The house is amazing. Apparently the owners are getting transferred to Germany and are selling the house. My MIL is trying to take my FIL into buying it.

Please co-sign the buying of that house tgrimes. They can airbnb it and I can get the Daughter-In-Law internet friend discount.😉 I wish this was a good weekend for us to meet up. You're only 3 hours away! I just read about it cagoldi. Horrible. They are going to "take their country back". WTF does that even mean?

Morgan's wonderland was awesome. I love that differently abled people can ride all the rides and play there. It was originally created by a man for his daughter who was disabled and the disabled community. Then he opened it up to everyone. Cadence loves it. They opened their water park this summer and it is 5 huge splash pad with different themes and a boat ride. Cadence had a great time despite getting car sick twice on the way down. She passed out on the drive home.
