DD is watching the Wiggles and I'm drinking warm coffee. Decided to Google if the Wiggles would be on tour and they are coming here in October. The question is do I want to take DD to a Wiggles concert at 38 weeks pregnant?

August Blooms Hmmm...that is a tough one. For me, any concert at 38 weeks, even if it was super chill Raffi, would be a no-go. That said - I'm also at risk for PTL, so that probably skews my views. Friday was pretty good over here! DS still has a runny nose and cough, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him much, which is good. We have ANOTHER 3 day holiday weekend here (this country has waaaaay too many holidays), so I am trying to think of something fun to do on one of the days. I can't get out much - but I was thinking we could grab lingonberry waffles at our favorite Scandinavian restaurant. We've hardly gone out to eat with DS since my pregnancy issues kind of grounded me, and I think it would be nice to go out for a tasty family brunch before the new baby gets here. Plus - waffles.

August Blooms I probably would try, I'm sure it would be a blast! I'm trying to take DS to see the frozen musical October 1. Have an OB appointment this afternoon and apparently an ultrasound. I wasn't supposed to have an ultrasound until 32 weeks so I don't know if this is an extra one or the scheduler messed up. I swear I've had to deal with the worst schedulers lately when setting up appointments. After my appointment, DS has his ENT appointment. He will hopefully be getting his last hearing test and praying he passes. We will also be checking to see if his tubes have fallen out yet or not. FX they have.

I got 8 (broken) hours of sleep last night. I'm so excited i can hardly stand myself. No big plans for today besides that DS has been begging to watch Everybody's Hero on Netflix.

It's Fridayyy!!! There is a huge consignment sale happening in our area so my mom and I and DD are going when I get off work. I'm hoping to score stuff for this baby and some fall clothes for DD too.
Also, this baby has become sooo active the past few days. Before, he only moved a lot at night. But lately he has been moving all day every day. Don't you sleep, kid?

My last day of (purposeful)4am wakeups!! Getting the house in order so we can leave for camping when DH gets home. Really hoping it goes better than I expect as far as sleeping. We're supposed to have beautiful weather and I know the kids will love all the outdoor time. Not so sure my body will love it. Took pics of my kids yesterday. It always amazes me to see the changes they can make in just a year. Total AW, PDQ

DD was in rare form this morning. None of my go-to methods would calm her. So I found Moana on Netflix and it worked like magic! She doesn't really 'watch' TV so this was awesome!
My next OB appointment is on Monday and I'm starting to get nervous. I have an u/s to check if the placenta previa has moved. Any placenta moving vibes you can send me this weekend are appreciated!

caitost21 Have a good appointment! chitownsully Fx for your placenta! I think I'm going to hold off until closer to October to make any decisions related to the Wiggles. I really want to be able to take her but I don't know if I physically will be able to. Realistically I'm a few days short of 30 weeks and I'm having issues already. H just called and he's heading home from work early. He's had to lay off a bunch of people this week due to a downturn and has been spending 13 hrs a day at work. His boss and HR told him he looked exhausted and needed to go home and he actually listened for once. He's not great at self care so I'm glad his coworkers are looking out for him.

It's 4 pm of day 1.5 of "snacking" aka eating every 2 hours. I hate it.
I'm going to pick up some Ensure or something to just add a 4th meal so I can stop feeling full 24/7. I think I can drink calories better than I (as myself) could eat them. The nausea is just too real.

I made chocolate chip cookies during DS's nap. Nothing delights a 2 year old more than waking up to find cookies.

DD and I went to Target today and I scored a baby k'tan in my size for $35 it's not the color I wanted (it's eggplant), but it's not bad. I sold my black one because it was too small so I'm happy to find one for cheaper than retail.
