cornpop , it seems that pretty much only the US recommends women avoid raw sushi. Every article I can find says that you should just stick to low-mercury fish and preferable pick something like salmon that has either been farmed or been frozen. calendula that makes me feel better. I've been craving sushi and wine (though that's no so different from any other day LOL) and it would be nice to have a fresh poke bowl. Have yall read Expecting Better? I wish they had an updated version/I could remember who I lent my copy to. It's a great pregnancy book that actually explains a lot of the science/studies behind what everyone says you should/shouldn't do. If you can, avoid farmed salmon. It is worse for you than wild salmon and has more parasites on it. Places with good salmon shouldn't be using farmed salmon.
