1. No, he'll go home to sleep like last time. Nurses were plenty helpful during the night with DS, and I'll use the nursery again.
2. DS will be at home with either my or H's parents.
3. No, we didn't last time and it wasn't bad. A few good friends visited, but messaged me ahead of time to ask if it was ok. Same with at home, people were really good about asking and didn't just show up, or stay too long. I love having visitors though!
4. No, I was pretty happy with how things went with DS. FX everything goes the same this time!

Taitai, I'm kinda jealous of your situation. And your answers made me LOL. I have been leaky a bit too so I'm hoping this time around milk isn't so f'ing hard to get out of my boobs. Last time I got tendinitis in my thumbs from squeezing them so hard. Omg yes - I squeezed my boobs so much the first time around to get the hind milk to DS. He was really exhausted from a long and difficult labor, so his sucking wasn't all that strong in the beginning. It ended up working out fine, but it was a lot of work! Also - yeah - maybe I should put this in a confession thread, but I often don't feel all that bad for living on the other side of the world from family, just because we have such an amazing support system here. It's easier to set boundaries with employees than it is with an overbearing SIL or MIL, YKWIM? We also get to avoid all the drama that comes with living near our families. Both sides can be a little smothering/invasive/guilt trippy, and we really value our independence/privacy out here. That probably makes me sound like a horrible person and a weirdo though!

I don't really play in this thread but I just wanted to AW that H shut down hospital visits from his family. It wasn't something we had discussed but I overheard him talking to his dad and he told them we are doing visitors at home. Woot *I'd add that my family is half a country away so they won't be visiting at the hospital either (minus maybe my mom depending on when she comes down and when baby arrives). We aren't just being bullies to H's fam

Ugh...we have too many variables at this point regarding which hospital we could end up going to due to which Level NICUs they have and thinking about all that makes my head really spin and I am a planner so its really hard for me not to have a plan....At this point if anything happens within the next 2 weeks, we'll have to wing it and decide on the spot and on a day to day basis cos' I think I'll be air-lifted to the hospital 1.5 hrs away? We'll have a better plan in a couple of weeks when I make it to 34 wks.

For all the planning the rest of us are doing, half those plans will get chucked out the window anyway because babies do what babies want and we don't have a lot of control!
