AnnPerkins if both my sister and I have boys, and you somehow resisted buying this yourself (or did in a different size), I am sending you this (I got 6-9 month). I HAD to buy it just in case. Had to. I bought 3 things totalling $39... I had just received a $40 ebates cash back check. So. FATE. 😂 It's actually on my Amazon registry and I've been going back and forth all day about buying it.

AnnPerkins and thatgolfb, There is also a ton of Rosie Pope on HauteLook/Nordstrom rack right now. Seems to be a bit cheaper too but I didn't compare every piece. Better return policy too.

I was just looking and they have that pattern in a onesie on NR AnnPerkins and thatgolfb.

I'm in 3rd tri today! Or maybe I was last week, I'm seeing mixed opinions on whether it's 27 or 28 weeks. Either way.. shits getting real!

Hi everyone! We are home from vacation. We came home a day early because the weather was cold/crappy so there was no point staying the night. It's fine with me though, now we've got everything unpacked just in time to start packing up our entire house. I can't believe we're moving in just over a week! 😬
I'm also feeling pretty sad though, just found out when we got home that my childhood cat passed away. He was a stray that I rescued when I was in like 7th grade, so I've always considered him "my" cat even though he stayed at my parents house when I moved out. He was the coolest cat- he would spend all day outside but then come up to you for snuggles, and he was so sweet. He was 16 years old which was a long and very full life for a half-time outside cat but I'm sad that he's gone...

I'm feeling really down that I haven't taken care of myself as well as I should be but I know it's just something that happens sometimes.

jax1182014, I'm ok with it. I didn't eat breakfast before going, so I'm wondering if my blood sugar just spiked with the drink. Since I was right on the line, I'm expecting to pass the 3hr.

This is my fear too- I did it today and they had me fast 2 hours before. Which meant no breakfast because I wanted to go in early. I've never had to fast before for my other 2. I better not fail.

3rd tri for me tomorrow!
The UK counts 3rd tri as 28 weeks, well my midwives do anyway.
Excited to get into the 10 week countdown, and to finally know if I'm going to be induced or not!

Eat all the carbs until your next test just in case, lol. Though I think when people fail by such a small margin they almost always pass the three hour.

I was specifically told you're more likely to pass if you eat a light, protein heavy meal about an hour before taking the drink. The nurses at my office always tell you as many "here's how to pass tips" as possible before hand.

Ds3 and I are going to the zoo today with my friend and her toddler son. I'm excited to see her. I haven't hung out with her since I was 8wks along and I was so sick I had to leave early.

I also worked a night shift the night before.

Dang- the cut off for the glucose test at my clinic is 130, not 140. I barely passed last time with 126.
I've heard that a lot of people who fail the one hour tend to pass the three hour with no issue.

My one hour is in 2 weeks. I have to start fasting at midnight and the test is at 8:30am. Then I get three shots after my blood draw, Makena, Tdap, Rhogam.
I almost passed out at the discharge desk last time, so I have really high hopes for this go round.

My glucose test is on Wednesday. I'll have breakfast before I go (likely eggs and cheese with coffee). I have a history of passing out after blood draws so no way I'm fasting unless they've specified that I have to ... and my ob said nothing about fasting. Last pregnancy my ob said to eat a protein heavy breakfast and not to eat like ... a donut lol.

My paperwork said no fasting, but when I did it first tri, the woman at the lab gave me a hard time for eating breaksfast, so this time I didn't eat...and failed. For the 3 hr, I was told to eat a carb with every meal for three days prior and then fast the morning of. FX I pass. GD is seriously the last thing I need to tack on to my situation.

My office uses a fasting or a non-fasting number. All the tech did was ask me, make a note, and drew my blood last time. They didn't even ask if I'd been fasting when I had my first tri blood work done. Every place is different, though I think it really should be standardized at this point.
