Morning! I'm a million times better wedding. After that breathing treatment at urgent care I'm hardly coughing and the wheezing is gone. Thanks for asking! This is crunch week. We move next Monday and have only packed 11 boxes. Ugh. I HATE packing.

Happy Monday!
Pete is on vacation this week and he has a mile long to do list: Sinny's BP check, hang new curtains in the living room and kitchen, clean the carpet, move X into Dude's room, and convert part of the loft into a play room.

It's a long weekend here, not that it really matters in my life, other than my Mom is here for the day. B was not delightful to be around yesterday, I'm hoping today is better.

I'm so tired. LO was talking and laughing very loudly in his sleep last night. I'm letting him sleep in and dh will take him to DC.

H seems better. He's definitely a happy sick boy. We leave Saturday for vacation so I hope the plane doesn't bother his ears. The ENT thinks one of his EI was caused by the plane.

Morning ladies. In the car in my way to Sweden. It always sucks to say goodbye to my sister and not knowing when I'll see her again, but I am really looking toward to two full weeks just the four of us. We're at the coast so I hope the weather will cooperate, it doesn't look like it will though... hope you all have a good Monday!

My doctor always says to use a lot of nose sprays, just the simple baby one that contain a saline solution. It clears fluids. Where are you going?

Morning! melaniesue I hate packing too, I'm the biggest procrastinator when it comes to packing. I ended up going to the shower yesterday and drinking too much. Woke with the worst headache at 3:30 and laid in bed until 4:00, finally got up and took 2 Aleeve and feel back to sleep around 4:15, then the alarm went off at 5:30. Needless to say, I 'accidentally' left my gym bag at home this morning. Has anyone ever taken a 2nd mortgage, based off equity, to pay off credit cards? H brought it up a few weeks ago, but I'm not completely sold that it's a good idea. I would like to knock our credit cards out before H goes on his 2 month work leave when he has full knee replacement in October, but I just can't convince myself to contact our lender. Any input would be appreciated.

Between M & H, I am the queen of sprays & the nose frida. We're going to a beach house in Destin for a week with MH's family where there will be a shit ton of wine consumed.

Morning! Enjoying the extra day of rest before going to work tomorrow. I should still be asleep, I was up until 4 this morning, but I've of course been away since 8. Also, Aunt Flo decided to make an appearance yesterday! I haven't had a natural one since the week before my wedding! I have no idea what my body is doing but I'll take it.

Morning! I went to boot camp before MH went to work. I'm debating doing another class at 11:30, but I'm not sure how the kids will do.

Morning!
C is apparently on a nap strike so that's fun...her normal 1.5-2 hours has been reduced to 20 min. Argh.
No big plans today, just hanging out around the lake and maybe taking a picnic somewhere with a playground for B.

Morning! I'm prepping right now for my interviews tomorrow. I'll be speaking with 5 different people including the CEO. I probably won't have time later to think about it because MH is out of town so I'll be solo with the kids until Friday. I also need to shower and straighten my hair for tomorrow but it's raining so I'll probably wait until tonight when the kids go to bed.

I'm in a mood today. H still has a fever and DH offered to stay home. While I appreciate him doing that, I feel like he's crabby because of it, or maybe it's just my guilt because I'd rather be home. He's missing a short agency meeting followed by a team building boat ride all afternoon, so it's not like he's missing actual work.
I don't remember if I mentioned it on Friday, but my frustrations with coworker finally came out... in a text message. Not the most professional move, but she is out on vacation and I was on vacation Friday too. Well, she left a few things not done on Thursday so I called her out on it. Thankfully she's gone all week so hopefully we'll both be cooled off by next Monday.

Morning! Why do my children hate sleep? S's sleep training is on hold because she's developed a cold and that keeps waking her up. I was running my humidifier and realized it wasn't taking up much water, checked and the filter was gross. So now I'm waiting on a new one from amazon. S needs a couple more pair of pjs so I might take a trip to the mall at some point today.

Morning! I could use another weekend day to rest after this weekend. I feel bad complaining because yesterday went about as good as it possibly could have, but I am dragging today. I'm also feeling kind of grumpy, so it might just be AF. Who knows? I just want to sit on the couch and cuddle my boys all day. I have too much work and they can't sit still for more than a couple minutes at a time, so instead I'm in the office. LOL.

This instructor is a trumper who's bitter about his divorce. The universe is punishing me. And I was 20 minutes late because of traffic and rain.

Question:
For those that have made the transition with your N13 or older kids, do y'all have any recommendations for 'combination carseats' (where they transition from 5-point harness to booster)?
I checked out CSFTL and all the 'recommended' seats seem to have a lot of annoying cons.

After C's surgery we leave his door opened at night. This gives him free reign to go to the bathroom. We've been discussing night training with him for months and he insists he's ready. We got some pull ups yesterday and he got up to pee at least 4 times in the hour after I put him to bed and tried to poop once. But he still woke with a full pull up. I told him he needs to go a week without dirtying his pull up and then he can go to just underwear. When he got up this morning he said "I peed in my pants. It's ok, we will just buy more". So I'm thinking I need to go full underwear here, right? We are staying at the in laws this weekend so I can't do it yet, but after I could. Any thoughts, suggestions?

wedding No suggestions, just that I'm not trying to night train until he is consistently dry, which he isn't.

wedding No suggestions, just that I'm not trying to night train until he is consistently dry, which he isn't. Same here. Josie doesn't wake up to want to use the bathroom mid-night, and 75% of the time her pull up is wet in the morning. Ffmc: it doesn't really bother me that she's still not night trained. We all sleep and it's just one pull up a day.

wedding we also waited til Bradley was waking up consistently dry to put him in underwear at night (this was in the spring). He doesn't get up to go overnight, he just holds it til morning. If you want to try him in underwear you could wake him up when you and your H go to bed and have him potty one last time (assuming you think he'd fall back to sleep quickly).

Morning.
I'm at the dentist. Just got my teeth cleaned and waiting to see the doc. I love getting my teeth cleaned. I feel brand new.😁 But, I do have a cavity. Ugh.I don't love fillings. I blame pregnancy.
M2 was very fussy yesterday. Not sure what was the culprit. It could have been reflux, or just gas. I gave him reflux meds this morning hoping it was that and that he'll have a better day. He seemed content before I left. My mom is home with the boys. We're making slime this afternoon and I have parent's night at M's school this evening. Busy day.

I checked out CSFTL and all the 'recommended' seats seem to have a lot of annoying cons. We have the graco transitions and I love it. Very narrow and comfortable. Easy to clean and comes with a potty training pad.
