I went to make myself an iced coffee and an orange creamsicle accidentally jumped in my hand... so I ate that. Now I need to attempt to make this coffee.

So total random, make me feel old moment happened this morning while I was checking in with FB. A girl I went to school with grade 7 and up, her daughter is pregnant!! Mind you she had her daughter when she was 18 (she was 7 months pregnant at our prom, and was named prom queen...lol). Her daughter turns 22 this month. Her youngest son is 1. She is going to be a gramma at 40. Life is funny! I also gave birth to DS1 on my 22nd birthday, and I absolutely did not feel like a baby, but I was. Lol

Tired. Trying to convince myself to do my workout now but with Ethan napping and Isaac playing the bed is calling my name.
Turned out ok at the splash pad. Fun times, E almost feel asleep at lunch.

Busy, busy weekend! A turned two on Friday. We skipped a party for her this year and instead just celebrated with some family throughout the weekend. My mom and stepdad, my grandma, and my cousin and her H spent the last three days with us doing a bunch of fun stuff. On her actual birthday we went to music class in the morning and the splash pad in the afternoon. Then we had a pizza party at our house with cupcakes and presents. She did this cute thing where she would thank people for the gift they gave her by going up to them, giving them a big hug and then very dramatically and emotionally saying "I love you so much." We would all laugh every time she did it, so she kept it up the whole weekend.
On Saturday we went to beach in the morning and the aquarium in the afternoon. Then went out for Italian that night for dinner. She loved the ocean and every time a wave would come and hit her she would say, "That's amazing!"
On Sunday we did a cookout at my mom's and then went to a park and had ice cream. It was such a great weekend, and I definitely don't regret not having a party. This morning she asked for "birthday milk" so I'm not sure she quite gets that it is no longer her bday, haha.

I'm so fucking exhausted. I seriously don't understand it.
DH and I also had some really hot sex this weekend. Maybe we should spend more time with his ex-wife.
Just kidding... maybe

I like to think you picked this gif because you know I heart Simon Pegg. Well, duh. I'm in your head.

I got E to fall asleep in the car around 12:45 (transferred him to bed no problem) and now it is3:30! If I let him sleep any later he won't go to bed until very late tonight but dang this is a good nap. He definitely needs it.

librarylady that sounds like a fabulous birthday weekend! amichelle723 I'm sure that delivery people have it rough. I've heard people complain about ringing the doorbell or knocking because they wake a sleeping baby. But you'd think if something needs to be signed for they'd knock.

redandblue, yeah one of my classmates' had a daughter when we were juniors in high school and her daughter just got married. That makes me feel old too! librarylady, what a fun weekend! Looks like we won't get the car until tomorrow. I wasn't planning on cooking dinner since we'd be at the dealership at dinnertime but then I started cooking. I was going to do BLTs and stewed okra but then ended up adding corn on the cob and rice....So way more pots and pans than I thought I'd use.

amichelle723 I would be calling someone's supervisor. The running without knocking would make me livid. skinandbones feeling competitive or was it a threesome situation? #3 climbed out of his crib again. I guess he's done with naps *insert weeping*

My CSA this week includes a dozen and a half jalapeños. I love spicy food, but how am I possibly supposed to get through these?!

My pleasure. Typing this out makes me wonder how CFA workers say that with a straight face or without feeling creepy. Guess they get used to it.
