What does everyone have going on this weekend? Anything fun? We plan on going to get me a new car tomorrow then not much on Sunday. I'm looking forward to having DH home this weekend, he has been gone a lot on the weekends recently and I need a little rest!

We bought a used pop up camper last fall and are finally going to a real camp ground with it this weekend. Up till now we only camped outside our family's lake cabin. DS daycare provider will be there with her kids (one is his BFF) so it should be fun.

Hi! I just got home from work. I am exhausted. I have been up since 3am. I am laying in bed for a little while until I have to start dinner. This weekend we are going to Sesame place. I am so excited and I hope G likes it. She loves watching Sesame Street so I am hoping that translates to a fun time for her. We are meeting up with my bff and her H and her almost 2yo which makes it even better. 😊

marygracerich, I thought of another sleep strategy I had to use the other night. Start counting backward from 10, but repeat the number over and over in your mind as well as visualizing the number too. Then after awhile, move to 9 and repeat and do the same. If your mind wanders to anything else, start back over with 10. When I've used that, I never make it to 1 but I usually have to start over a bunch of times. Try to spend a decent amount of time on each number.

I went shopping for maternity jeans yesterday since my old ones are a little raggedy. I ended up with the Jessica Simpson skinny style. They definitely fit the best, which is good because there are some pricy pairs. One pair I tried on looked fine, and I was thinking, "they aren't perfect but good enough to wear when the JS pair is in the wash". Then I looked at the price... $215! Lol, no. For a pair of pants I'll wear for at most a year? I bought two of the JS pairs for less than half that.

That dress is cute! I also bought a pair of JS jeans. I didn't wear jeans much with DS since it was summer. I schedule my anatomy scan today. August 16!

I know flippinchica, our wardrobes from our Aug 15 babies are not going to work! Since I was off that summer, my last 2 months were spent in ratty tank tops and stretchy skirts...that's not gonna fly at school in Dec/Jan! Oh and flip flops. How am I going to work all day in real shoes when I'm 40 weeks pregnant?!?!

They are very warm. However they lace up to the knee and there is no way I am going to be able to do that with a big belly. 😫

My NIPT results came back "inconclusive" so I have to go back on Monday for a re-draw and wait another 10-14 days. I'm bummed and a tiny bit worried. Also, I am really over the morning sickness. I am tired of feeling sick all day long and trying to hide my vomiting. Ugh. Anyway, enough whining.
In-laws are visiting this weekend, so I'm sure we'll be doing stuff together. I have to work today & tomorrow, but Sunday I will be free to hang out with everyone. Normally we would do a big dinner, but the very idea of it is making me nauseous. 5 more hours of work to go today. I just want to take a nap.

I had my 11 week ultrasound and visit today.
We're doing a garage sale at my parents this weekend and a chicken BBQ on Sunday for our fire department.
I got some great deals on maternity clothes and baby clothes at a consignment sale today so that made me happy.

We got home from vacation this evening so nothing is on the agenda this weekend other than laundry and grocery shopping. I will probably take DS to a play place in the morning just to burn some energy.

I am home from vacation!!! It feels so good to be home. I am exhausted from being at the beach all day today and then traveling home and unpacking. We had such a glorious week, but I am so glad to be home. We start potty training tomorrow!!!! I'm nervous and scared and terrified. Someone hold me.

Today was the last full day at the campground we've been in since Monday, but it's not over yet as tomorrow we drive a couple hours over to meet our ILs at the lake they've had their camper set up all summer! It's a long weekend here so we are there till Tuesday! My two little beach bums this morning, definitely growing up lake kids

We are just home from vacation. A 5.5 hr car ride took 8 hrs. It was awful. Thank God I loosened up on screen time and let DD watch curious George basically the entire time. She's so sweet. She fell asleep (finally) and when we pulled in the driveway she woke up with a huge smile and said, "HI!" Then when we were getting her out of the carseat she said, "bye, monkey!".
We have a 30th bday party tomorrow but no other plans this weekend.

Add me to the list of summer baby moms. DS was June 16, so I'm going to have to see what I have for useful clothing for January and February. I think my coat is pretty large. It's super warm and comfortable so I'm hoping I can squeeze into it. Shoes are my biggest concern. I wear zip up knee boots all winter, but by the end of my last pregnancy it was a ridiculous process just to put socks on. I guess I need to start yoga now.

I'm glad it doesn't get truly cold here. So I plan to announce on fb after my anatomy scan but it is 2 days before DS birthday so I'm not sure if I should wait till the following week. Clearly this doesn't really matter but I'm pondering this morning.

tiffrobot your pictures are great quality. Are they from your phone or do you dabble in photography? You have great shots!

DD was a spring baby but where we live it doesn't get too cold in the winter (if you can call it winter). I had to get some winter maternity clothes for her anyway bc we visited my family where it does get cold. Hopefully I'm in good shape I have tons of leggings and long tunics so hopefully that will be enough for winter!

I have a M10, F13, and July '15 baby. In theory I should be good on clothes. I never bought a winter coat, just left my regulars unbuttoned. But I also am not much of an outdoors girl so it wasn't an issue.

I was a nov14 (turned dec) sooo I'll make the mat clothes I got work (including some additions 😜)I just wore one of Hubs coats that is too small for him, it's a nice north face one soo yeah. I do want to get 1 or 2 more pair of leggings. I wasn't working at the end and I just wore uggs for the cold.
