Well, all the talk with Taitai goodies coming from abroad, brings out an almost 40 yr confession! Eff! that makes me feel old now. Meh! I remember crystal clear when my mom came back for the 1st time from abroad after going to my cousins wedding in NZ and she brought me and sis the hugest, giantest lollipop ever! just like this one!  I remember it was the most magnificent thing I'd ever seen and tasted ever! and I treasured it and only took 2-3 licks a day, wrapped it back up and put it in the refrigerator and it lasted a whole year. I was a strange child. LOL! But thinking back....how gross is that! |

duskymonkey, you had a lot of self restraint as a kid. I would have sucked on that lollipop until my pareents took it away and my mouth would have been rainbowed colored lol. DH had surgery on his shoulder on Wednesday. He decided to sleep on the sofa all propped up so he wouldn't hurt his shoulder. So DS and I had the bed all to ourselves. It was glorious. Usually I get a foot in the face or chest a couple of times a night from DS but he's slept so soundly the past 2 nights. Coupled with my bladder being under control for most of the night, it has been the best sleep I've had since the beginning of this pregnancy. I'm kinda hoping DH decides to sleep on the sofa a couple of more nights.

H has been in leave for 2 weeks now and I'm excited for him to go back to work Monday.

He's been a huge help with DD, but I'm ready to have my alone time back while she's at daycare on Monday/Wednesday |

I went to the grocery store today and check out stand chocolate was on sale for $0.50 a bar. I bought 2 and ate one on the drive home with the intention of sharing the other with DH tonight. Putting DS down for his nap ended up being a struggle, so i ate the other one too.

Amazon (or the company I ordered from through Amazon) double sent me an order. I've quadrupled checked all bills/statements for a double charge and am 99.9% certain this was an accident on one of their parts.
I'm not returning the package. It's nothing crazy, some heavy duty pencil grips for my new tables in my classroom (around 35.00) but I still feel sorta guilty. Amazon usually doesn't care (they've sent me wrong/extra stuff in the past and I have said something) but I can't tell if this was their screw up or the company I ordered from.

DH brought a bunch of cosmetics back from the USA for me (I had ordered them online and had them shipped to the in-laws), and when he asked if all 80 sheet masks he schlepped back were for me - I said I planned on giving some away as Christmas gifts to our friends out here.
I have no intention of giving those sheet masks away. 😬😬😬

danvers, considering how underfunded schools are and how much OOP teachers put out themselves, consider it a donation from the company. I would feel guilty too but it's for a good cause.
