I'm sorry peachsmama. LO had a really high fever for all three days with the highest being 103. When he was on medicine he was 100% normal. Just like joelies no other symptoms.

LO is 37 1/2(ish). An 1 1/2 too short for all the rides he wants to go on at DL. As soon as he's 40in we are going to get on all the rides except 2 or 3 and he's going to have a blast.

I've never had boxed wine.
FFC: I didn't start drinking until just a few weeks before 21. Dh (then bf) brought me something for me to try. He brought a nice bottle of wine and boones farm. I didn't necessarily like either. I think I felt guilty. My dad use to work for a major beer company so underage drinking was never an option for me.

He's in a great mood and running and playing normal. But he broke my thermometer so now I'm trying to figure out my mom's so I can see if it's gone.

I meant to tell you guys, because I saw so many doctors this week, everyone checked my temperature, and everyone had a different method. The G I had this kind of laser thing he pointed at my head. It never actually touched me, and it was accurate as everything else. It made me think it would be great for kids, especially when they're sleeping. Does anyone have one of those?

I've seen them for both medical and food. I'm skeptical of a lot of thermometers. I get mostly basic ones because I know how to test to see if they are accurate over time. If we do have another baby I would most likely reconsider it though.

I bought it on prime day! Originally $80 - I got it for $13.99 on prime day. But I just looked and it's only $17.99 now. I like it! Accurate and quick. Here's a screenshot...

Awesome, thanks. I never feel like our forehead or ear one is super accurate. Me either. When she's sick I take her temp 100x because I feel like it's not right. I have like 5 thermometers now, my H says I'm obsessed. But I really only rely on 2 of them . I need to throw the others away because they never give accurate readings.

Super late - thanks for sharing that thermometer lfig. I stink at taking temperatures and never trust it. I've been wanting to buy one of those, but wasn't sure how well they worked and the price was so high. your post helped me pull the trigger

Morning lovelies! We've been running errands all morning and in a few hours we're going over to our bff's house for an end of summer swim party.
ETA damnit, wrong thread. Will repost in weekend.

I'll drink a bud light or a colors light if it's all that is available, it I won't touch something like keystone or pbr. This is unfortunate that the beers I love are way more calorie heavy.

For instance, I took it several times when S was sick. It ranged in temp based on where I aimed it. If I aimed it higher and to the side of her forehead it gave a higher reading and if I went closer in towards the center of her forehead it gave a lower reading. As opposed to the temporal thermometer that you slide across the forehead that pulls the highest temperature from when you scan across the whole forehead. So this one is like a "point and shoot". Make sense?

I hate the temporal thermometer. It never gave us an accurate reading. I just bought an ear thermometer. It has given me a variety of readings, so far.

Re: boxed wine. There are really Good boxes wines, but you need to look for them. I'm sipping my boxed very dry South African Chenin blanc, it's not to shabby. Still like my Sauvignon waaay better. Re thermometers: I'm paranoid about the readings. I never get an accurate one with the ear ones, so I always use a rectal one. I would love one of those forehead ones... xolastunicornxo I'm sorry but calling yourself a beer snob, but admitting to drinking bud/coors light in the same paragraph 😜?!

More towards the temple is where it read higher.

nam2013 lol, no I know! They're gross and I'll complain the whole time, I'm just saying I'll have one occasionally, especially in venues like concerts where often that's all there is available. But that's the lowest I'll go, the other ones I'd rather not drink!! 😉😉

Temporal thermometers are junk. I prefer rectal temperatures but honestly, most of the time I don't actually take temps. If their forehead feels warm I just treat them. Unless they feel super warm, then I'll take the temp.

The one I'm drinking probably isn't available over there, but Stormhoek has a nice red one. The handy thing about these things is, they keep for way longer (3 weeks) which makes it easier to just drink one glass and put it back. www.winespectator.com/webfeature/show/id/15-Box-Can-Wine-Score-ReviewsEta this is not my hill to die one 😉. I normally buy bottles. For me it's mostly a vacation thing, I couldn't bring 8 bottles to my sister because we didn't have enough space in the car, but I did want to bring wine!

tgrimes the one I took a pic of was actually pretty good, I would buy it again. And it was about $9 for the box, which is 1.5 bottles.
