I got a positive opk just now, so I didn't ovulate earlier, which is great. If the test means I O tomorrow, and we do it today and tomorrow that gives me good timing of O, -1, and I've hit -3 and -5.
If he can muster it, maybe even a +1. But that's probably pushing it. EOD is the most we can typically do but my husband can rally for today and tomorrow. (He has horrible psoriasis and too frequent sex and his skin gets all torn up, which is sad for him.)

I'm sorry for your H though, that sounds rough.

I have usually had at least a faint line on an OPK by now (CD 15), and I haven't, so my body might O later than usual this cycle (usually CD 17-18).
I wouldn't care except that my sister's wedding is this weekend, and we will be super busy and in a hotel room with V Thursday through Sunday, and I really wanted to have all of the babymaking sex behind me. We'll have to see what happens!

I thought they were different than hpt in that way. There is always hotel bathroom quickies! Do what you gotta do. I hope it works out easy for you.

My O date is throwing me off, too. My OB changed my dosage of progesterone last cycle because I was having horrible symptoms so maybe it's affecting me this cycle. The last two cycles I O'd on CD11 and 12. I'm on CD 12 and I'm getting negative OPK's and my temps are still low. I'm having O pains, though, so IDK what's going on. We started early on CD7 so now I feel like it was wasted.

In the cycles that I charted last time we TTC, I always had a long surge. I would see faint lines building up and the lines got darker when I was about to O. These are still negative, but I've never actually turned a test completely positive, so I usually use the darkness of the line to indicate where in my surge I am. We could definitely make it work this weekend, I just would rather have it be bonus sex then feeling like we need to squeeze it in between all of the events we have for my sister.

I've definitely had both. Like one cycle I will get a slow darkening OPK line and the next it will go from boom super negative to positive.

Back from my RE appointment, nothing exciting but we now have a plan of testing moving forward and know what decisions we might need to make. Unexplained IF is my biggest fear, but I'm trying to focus on the testing and not think about it.
The appointment included a vag cam and it was kind of cool because I O'd today (as I suspected) so we got to see my corpus luteum and uterine lining, etc. All looked good on the u/s so that's one test checked off.

I had a CP this round. I'm feeling things. Mostly just bummed. I was so excited and happy, and now it's CD1. But I'm here. I'm ready to try again. I'm so sorry, thinking of you.

[quote author=" Yogurt" [/quote]Question. Do opk work like that? Fainter and fainter lines before a positive? I had stark white yesterday, and a dark positive today. I thought they were different than hpt in that way. For me, my OPKs will gradually get darker leading up to O. I've heard some say it's better to test in the afternoon vs FMU but I've never had an issue.
