I just looked and all of mine are shot. What are your favorite ones? I don't care for the full panel ones and I don't want to spend a lot. Thanks.

I think I also want a pair of decent side panel ones this time. I'll scour the secondhand shops to see what I can find! I did pick up a cute pair of white maternity jeans from Target on clearance!

Ok this thread inspired me! I just bought 3 pairs of maternity jeans (motherhood, pea in a pod, and rosie pope) and 3 tops (all motherhood) from Thread Up with a 40% off and free shipping promo code and it came to $70 TOTAL! I'm so excited. If you guys want to use it the promo code is 1STTIME40... Caveat is that it must be your 1st order there.

I only like the full panel from Old Navy, but I know they carry the other kind, too. You might have to order online though because they are limiting their in store maternity selection, but you can return in store if you don't like them or need a different size. I can't remember exactly, but I think I went one size up than my regular jeans.

Following this! I took mine down yesterday and I only have 1 pair that I like. I got out my bin this weekend and was like WTH? Fourth pregnancy and I haven't managed to acquire one pair I actually like?? It's too blazing hot for pants at the moment so I'm wearing essentially pajama shorts far more often than I care to admit. Personally I only like the full panel. I feel like other ones sometimes cut into the bump.

I got mine from motherhood maternity, I have two pairs both are full panel. I need recs for other types of pants though bc I can't wear jeans to school. :/

I have s nice pair on black leggings that I get away with in business settings. Should be good for school! ETA - full panel forever otherwise it makes my bump look weird and I find cutting off lower uncomfortable. I have a few pairs of AG brand from pea in the pod and I like them. My pair from DS1s pg is sort of too stretched out.

I do have some mat leggings, problem is it's deathly hot here so idk if I want to do leggings yet 😩 Also my leggings aren't full panel so I think I need new ones haha. I learned full panel is so much more comfy than the lower ones. All my shorts are lower 😭

I had a pair from target last time I loved. Unfortunately, I'm starting smaller this time so none of my jeans fit. Out of my whole bin I could keep 3 things.

dragonflyinn I have an awesome pair of black slim fit dress pants from Gap that I'm sure I will be wearing at least once a week to school. I also need to find a nice pencil skirt. I also have some comfy linen pants that can look nice as long as I do a good job with the rest of the outfit!

Thanks for the ideas. I might give full panel another try. I just remember it either not staying up or tearing because I pulled too hard.
I'm checking out ON and my SIL has a bin for me to go through.

I'm checking out ON and my SIL has a bin for me to go through. I have 2 pair of Jessica Simpson maternity jeans and even now without a bump the only place I feel it slipping is at my back at my bra line. But any time I wear hose or spanx it happens with those too so I think it is more my body shape than the pants/shapewear.

I live in a major city and only 2-3 stores carry even a small corner of maternity clothes, most of them are sold online only. I had to go to a mall 20 minutes away (which I realize isn't that far except we have a major mall 5 minutes from our house) to a maternity specialty store. My Macy's carries a corner but you can't use coupons because it is "leased space", my Old Navy has an even smaller selection and in limited sizes, and I don't normally shop Target so not sure what they carry. H&M, GAP and the rest of the department stores just don't carry anything. This makes NO SENSE to me with the trend of "dressing the bump" and pregnant woman resorting to old tent style dresses to hide their pregnancies. If they offer them online why not in store?!?

OK, I will be officially doing no more maternity clothes shopping! I visited a friend today and she sent me off with a huge bag of clothes. No side panel jeans but 2 pairs of jeans (full panel) and lots of pants, tops and even a black pencil skirt like I was wanting.

Any experience with how full panel bottoms fit if you still don't have a bump? I am in the awkward stage where none of my pants/shorts fit (unless I do hairband trick), but I feel like a full panel would not stay up yet. My shorts situation is getting pretty desperate and I don't see a lot of shorts without the full panel!

pinkcat I have a couple of maternity tanks I got at target, I think they're by the same people that make a Bellaband. They're nice and tight (but stretchy) and helped hold my pants up. Also don't forget the hair tie trick. Loop a hair tie through the button hole of your pants and around the button. Gives you another inch or so of space!

My shorts situation is getting pretty desperate and I don't see a lot of shorts without the full panel! I tried on my full panel dress pants from last time around. I don't think you would have to worry about the panel staying up, I ran into the issue where the butt/lower back area seemed to pucker when I tried them on recently and did not have that issue when I wore them at 30+ weeks

My shorts situation is getting pretty desperate and I don't see a lot of shorts without the full panel! I find the full panel 3 in 1 styles stay up the best. They are a thicker jersey panel, and you can fold them down when you dont have as much bump.

I love my side panel j brand and Paige jeans! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, I was coming to say this!!! They are expensive, but Paige Skyline side panels feel like butter and are amazing. They are the only pair of mat jeans I have.
