Got my report. Three bulging discs, two fairly minor with no compression but one hitting the cord. What is their recommended course of action?

I had to do my speed work on the treadmill today because it snowed yesterday and the ground is an icy death trap. Winter is so fun. I did 10 x 400m repeats. The thing I hate most about the treadmill is that my watch doesn’t understand what’s happening. I did my intervals at 7mph (which is like 8:40ish right?)but my watch thought I was running about a min/mile slower than that. But it equaled out because it thought my recovery jogs were faster than they were so the distance was almost correct 🤣 And who knows if my treadmill is even calibrated correctly. It’s all a big guess!

November was great for me. Zero alcohol. I strength trained 5 days per week every week and was successful at progressive overload every week. I know it's not heavy for most but for me, being able to use my 25lb dumbells for shoulder press feels like an accomplishment. I'm choking down all the protein and can see a difference in my physique already. Getting myself psyched up for leg day now! I know I am absolutely guilty of the whole “I know for some this might not seem like a big deal but…” But for you, and me, and anyone else that needs to hear it, you don’t need to qualify your accomplishments like that. Be so proud! I love hearing y’all’s successes and PRs in here, so brag about yourself a little bit. And I think 25 pounds for the shoulder press is really impressive so there’s that too 😅

Sprint spin and body pump this am, then 10 min core with Rebecca (I think) It was great- 2 songs, 1 by Celine and one by Mariah. Will do it again. Spin felt great and if I kept track, I probably got a PR.

Didn’t get out to the gym until afternoon. HS boys pouring in on my last few supersets. 😷. Farts and AXE
Anyway squats today that went well. I checked after my workout and I’m very very close to PR. Maybe next week?? Also hit a PR in reverse lunges today. Considering some treadmill work tomorrow. I think my foot is ready?

4 miles on the treadmill tonight. I’m so over it. I’m ready to abandon my family and go somewhere warm.

I don’t think I checked in yesterday. I did some elliptical time and walking on the treadmill, and some weights.
Today I had PT and I did W5D2 of Discover Strength.

I have been MIA, though I was working out regularly up to a week ago when I got sick with fucking RSV of all things! I Asthmatic, so I have squeaky breathing even after a week of steroids and zpack (thrown at me before testing came back)—I think I need to see my pulmonologist for an X-ray. Interestingly, I started zepbound (I had a bit more regain) the night I started to feel RSV symptoms, and the combination of that plus illness meant I ate hardly anything the week of thanksgiving! I don’t think those results are typical, lol. Anyway, I want to hop back on the bike once I get better.
