@easilyunamused, hopefully you'llnotice actual improvement soon! Must be frustrating to not really see any improvement, but I'm glad things are at least not getting worse. Do you have a follow up appointment with the dr soon or? When I switched insurances at the beginning of the year I lost my dr. So I don't have a regular physician. So I'll need to find one first. |

I know it's only been a week, and it'll take time. But ugh I'm not a fan of my postpartum body. 😣 I can't wait to start being able to get out and at least walk soon!

Yes and I'll need to do it soon actually since we're moving and I still think I have an ear infection? Idk if what the ER prescribed me will help that too. And I still need to see my OB for a check up, but they haven't gotten back to me about a date because they are super busy. 😑 |

I am such a grump today. Not feeling great and MH wants to do stuff NOT on the to do list before baby comes.. and now is playing a video game while I am doing a couple chores he promised to do for me ... ugh. The cats also get on my nerves...so I know tis mostly me but well none of them is 9mo pregnant!! 😇

I cleaned. I wonder what tonight will bring.... Oh! And when I wasn't cleaning he was telling me to make the baby come. Hello if I could control that, like really control that don't you think baby would be here?!?!?!

The talks about YHs and video games solidifies my dislike for them. We don't have a console in the house, they just seem to be a huge distraction. Do you ladies play as well?

My husband was never a big gamer and when he would play I would usually play with him. I could imagine how annoying and frustrating it can be when they are so involved with it.
My DH drives me nuts with his phone. I know work related stuff is unavoidable most times. We have had long talks about answering emails all night. Right now he is driving me nuts when he plays games on his phone. He has one game right now that he has been playing every chance he gets. It drives me nuts! Like hello our toddler is running around like a nut and I feeding baby!

LOL @easilyunamused you mean a dislike for our Hs or videogames? 😉 I used to play quite fanatically for several years (MH and I actually met at a LAN party thrown by the "guild" we were both part of of one of the MMOs we played over the years!) but life got in the way (and maybe I grew out of it some as well.. or both) and now I play very sporadically. It is one of MHs hobbies though, a way for him to relax. We do have a Playstation set up and an xbox in the closet but never play console games - we are more of the pc games. I can't handle all the buttons on those controlers lol!!
I have to say..he did get on my nerves with getting behind the pc for a bit but it was only for a short period of time. He has been real busy and got a lot done the rest of the afternoon! Not necessarily stuff on the to do list but ohwell - we did get most of those things done too ☺👍

Hudson had his follow up appointment today! He did good and his jaundice is receding finally! He also gained almost a pound in a week and over his birth weight. The doctor was like wow! lol I was so relieved becuSe breastfeeding my older son was so different. It took him over 3 weeks to get over birth weight.

Well, I'm having a baby today - around 5pm.
Ultrasound was great, she measured 8lbs 12oz (it'll be interesting to see how close that is). But, my blood pressure was like 138/100 twice. I was sent to L&D and I'm doing ok here, but since my doctor is the one on today she decided to just get it over with. Which, I guess is better than coming back at 5am on Wednesday. H went home to get a few things and more comfortable clothes. The policy at this hospital is three nights, so that sucks - but, I'll be out by Thursday if everything goes well.

I know it is his way to relax and I don't begrudge him an hour here and there, but I cannot stand when he spends 4-6 hrs in a row on weekends, especially if he does so on both weekend days. He says he's getting it all out before baby comes, but there is stuff I need done before baby too. Ah well. Maybe it is his last hurrah before he has to be a full fledged adult? I think it's also his distraction since he can't do much to get baby here. LOL

She clearly wants more room to move around. Well today A refuses to be put down, I can't get anything done. I believe I've changed 5 diapers in the last hour as well.
