The cold open from this week’s SNL is even better than last weeks. So good. Gaffigan as Walz is a national treasure.
They did make fun of Minnesota for not being very horny. lol.

So far, I’ve done 100 postcards for GOTV efforts in NC and written 40 letters via Vote Forward (20 to NC, 20 to GA). I think I’m going to aim to complete at least 80 letters and am going to do OH and NV next.
It feels good to “do something” this election other than just my usual donations. It’s also giving me something to do when I’m feeling anxious, which is good.
Less than one month left!!

So the NY Times has finally decided to take real look at Trump's incoherent. Now if they (and other media outlets) will only keep hammering on this in the same way they did Biden...

The local anti-school olds have started rearing their heads on Nextdoor. I am very discouraged about the bond issue passing. We're having such little luck getting any positive engagement, even from parents. I am very pessimistic today about the overall political system in Ohio. I truly think it's on the brink of mass catastrophe.
The gerrymandering, the refusal to fix the unconstitutional school funding (our local rep claims it's fixed 🙃), the major issues with local funding mechanisms and how the levy structure leads to voter fatigue, the number of TFG signs that have popped up in the last week, and we saw our first TFG ad on TV(streaming). It's going to be a tough 30 days

We've got a drought and high winds. There are some brush fires that are spreading regionally. A lot of it appears to be harvest/machine related.
