What stuff have you bought recently that you’re like “yes, this was the best choice…love this journey…take my money”? I bought these pants yesterday at Target. $20. Go get them.

Supergoop Glow Screen.
I hate foundation. Even sheer foundations cover my freckles. This is a tinted SPF 40 that makes my skin look dewy and a little more even while letting my freckles show through. I am the color of milk, so I got the fair and it was perfect.

Right now it has: grapes, hard boiled eggs, cut peppers, cucumber slices, carrot sticks, apples, salami and cheese slices. I think I got it for $10

My H brought home some bottles of vanilla pumpkin hand soap from TJ's and it's heavenly. I can't stop smelling my hands a bunch after I use it. It appears they also have lotion, so I'm going to need that too. link

I bought two of these poster hangers to display DS's art. They're magnetic and really easy to switch out. a.co/d/fl9uhYh

I'm annoyed that Target discontinued the Stars Above joggers. They're my absolute favorite things to wear in the winter.

Those dang OQQ bodysuits on TikTok. I have 9(?!) of the square neckline ones in various colors. They sort of suck you in and are so comfortable and perfect for long torso girls too.
I went true to size and love how they fit.

Kobo Libra Colour. I love physical books, and have done a lot of audio but I have never read so much non-audio since I got it. It fits in my purse, I can pick it up and read for 5 minutes while waiting for the kids, etc. I love it so much. The kobo connects directly to the library so I can just browse and download library books constantly for free and not have to worry about actually going there. This is a bit of a niche one but if you enjoy reading it's a great e-reader.
oh and since I have an attention problem lol I find that having a limited amount of words on the page makes me read much much faster. it's magic.

CestLaVie how does that work with kindle books? You can't see kindle books on there. So basically kindle is amazon branded and will only work with a kindle ereader. In Canada, a lot of the library books are ePub only. There is ePub which is readable on every other brand of device or kindle books on kindles. I think kindles can be great option too if you're in the US. I do use a few US library cards and when you are putting a hold on books it asks if you want the kindle or epub version. I think you may be able to use the library on a kindle in the US but you can't in Canada. My partner has a kindle and it definitely the same idea (convenience and nice to read on) the only thing I don't like is having to buy books on amazon as the only way of reading on it (in Canada anyway). I also really like having the waterproof and colour option. I don't know how kindle does with that specifically. But ereaders in general are great. Kobo will link to overdrive, google drive, dropbox, etc.

I hate that it doesn’t work with libraries here and I have to use my fake Harris county account. When it dies I’m getting a kobo, MH has the Libra and loves it

When you're ready to add to your collection, I highly recommend their Signature Cassadou. It's become the workhorse of our kitchen, we use it for nearly everything. I love our le creuset dutch ovens of various sizes (the oval is great for a whole chicken, for example) but sometimes you just don't need something that deep and the handle is really convenient.

We’ve bought several pieces of the toughened non stick pro line this past year and we are soooooo in love. Heavy duty and the absolute easiest pan to clean. Also, really enjoy the cassadou as well.

I wanted a new work bag that wasn't quite so laptop bag like and ended up getting this at the Vera Bradley outlet. It's simple but so nice. Separate pocket for laptop, cell phone, and room for Kindle or book - without being heavy or bulky. And under $100.

bearfootzcontinued, that is nice! I've been working from home since covid and my company sent me to NYC last month. I used an old traditional laptop bag that I had lying around and I felt like such a dork around all the NYC office people who used backpacks & cute bags like this lol

Canned soup was on sale and I thought it would make a cheap lunch for in-office days. Any recs for a microwavable mug or bowl that would fit a can of soup without giving it a plastic-y taste?
