It has a long strap that attaches too.  
And I like that if have to carry it into a store after work it's not so obviously a work bag.  At least I hope now.

I wanted a new work bag that wasn't quite so laptop bag like and ended up getting this at the Vera Bradley outlet. It's simple but so nice.  Separate pocket for laptop, cell phone, and room for Kindle or book - without being heavy or bulky. And under $100.

Thanks for posting this, I just had some heavy corporate travel put on my calendar and I am not thrilled about using the corporate branded backpack I have.
