Heading to Philly Sep 6-8 to see Pearl Jam, so we will have a couple days to see the sights as well. Give me your must dos and must eat places (pretty please!!) Putting it out into the universe that I get to see Gritty in the wild. Thanks!

Years ago we were told to eat at Zahav and it remains a very memorable meal. idk if it's still as good but we loved our dinner there.

I live in the burbs and I missed out on tickets! So bummed. I am guessing this is grown ups only? I will leave the recommendations to the people that actually live in the city but- where are you staying?

I will leave the recommendations to the people that actually live in the city but- where are you staying? It’s just my H and I going. We actually haven’t booked a hotel yet but basically looking around center city West/Rittenhouse to center city East/Old Town? This is the first time we didn’t get tickets through the Ten Club lottery, but our friend decided he wanted to go to Boston more so sold us his tickets for Philly ♥️

Pumpkinwest, I just saw they still have tickets for Chicago but my H said no. Boo. Um, RUDE! We did the Chicago shows in 2018. Not sure if you ever saw the video of the guy jumping the fence, running the Wrigley bases, then getting tackled by security but I saw it in real time and it was epic 😂 Great venue for a PJ show. You need to convince him!!

Reading Terminal Market is a great lunch spot. SO much great food in 1 spot. readingterminalmarket.org/ Cheesesteaks, roast pork (Dinics), donuts (Beilers bakery), cannolis (Termini bros)....and SO much more! El Merkury is FANTASTIC food, though not something that Philly is 'known for'. If you stay in the Center City/Rittenhouse area, some attractions I would recommend are: Love Park Mutter Museum (Medical oddities - really cool spot) The Gayborhood - just strolling around there, there are some cool bars, bookstores, etc South Street isn't far - you could walk there, but taxi might be easier. If you go to south st, I would check out cheesesteaks from Jims, and the magic gardens If you go to Old City, there are a ton of historic tours and stuff you can do, the constitution center, the mint
