I have been needing to get some maternity pants.. the rubber band trick isn't helping anymore.
I recently had to retire my doppler, it's only making me worry more. I need June 14th to hurry up.

I'm watching this cheesy first date TV show and it just made me cry. Thanks, hormones.

I need to get signed up this summer for September 2018. Ridiculous. At least I know where I want this baby to go, so I can skip the tours this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk We aren't even touring until closer to our due date. I'm on three lists. The first two said they have around 100 people on the list and the third said 150. It's just crazy where I'm at and they closed one of the big church ones this year to convert it to an elementary school sooooo..... I had to put E on a waiting list for pre school when she was 6 months old. She won't even start until fall of 2019. I put this baby on a waiting list for daycare at the same location and they told me there are people on that list who don't even have kids yet. So instead of putting down the child's date of birth or due date, they put the date they plan to start trying for kids. Whoa.

Re: preschool waitlists, most moms around me tour places either when they start trying, or when first pregnant to be put on wait lists too. People freaked out when I told them my DD was 1 and I didn't have her on any lists yet. We found a place we love and they can take her at 2.5, so it all worked out for us - but it's still so hard for me to wrap my head around planning so far ahead for this stuff.

I guess this is where I am thankful I live in a small town because I walked into a preschool for N and signed him up for this upcoming fall with no waiting or lists. I can't even imagine having to put him on a waiting list when he was a baby.

Also, I worked really hard at TCF to remove my noob status and it is so annoying I'm back to a noob again here. Lol. 😂

One place asked me if I was pregnant yet so I'm guessing that happens here too.

The daycare that just shut down had some teachers that are starting up in homes and a few might go together to make one.

I don't know if it's still the case but here they refuse to take bookings or put you on a list until you're xx months along. Guess I should double check it's still true. I'm super lucky that the DC DD gives priority to families that are already enrolled which is great for us. Not so great for others trying to get in..

Boy, I really never considered how competitive it was for some people to get into preschool. This is one area I am lucky to live in a small town.
