P woke up this morning and immediately asked for pizza. I have no idea why she thought there would magically be pizza available in the morning, or why she would be having pizza for breakfast. When I opened the fridge to show her other options, she said "uh oh! No pizza!" And looked dismayed before finally settling on a yogurt.

Slept OK. W has started waking up at 6 in the morning to go potty so we have a an earlier schedule but it's working for us. I worked out this morning which I haven't done in forever and he sat on my lap during the pelvic raises and crunches so that should add some good resistance. 😂😂

booarogue, I was doing my cat, cow yoga poses yesterday and A kept crawling underneath me like I was a tunnel. So funny when toddlers "help" us workout.

I'm ready for this head cold to GTFO. So sick of being congested.
On the plus side, the child proof lock worked wonders this weekend. Each night, he cried and tried to escape for less time. Last night I barely heard him. He does keep refusing to stay in his bed though. Hey, if he wants to sleep smooshed in the glider, he can have at it.

Pizzaslut, I was just going to ask how things are going. I say that is a win. As long as he can't hurt himself on anything in there, I'd be like "sleep on your dresser for all I care!"

Yes, we keep pulling more things out. He was trying to go through his diaper pail so that gets pulled out each night. I really just need a padded cell for him. Lol.

I have friends that have literally taken everything out of the room except for the bed. I would do the same too if it meant my kid would sleep in their room for the night.

Big bed transition is going slightly better than expected. It takes roughly a million times of putting him back into bed before he stays there, but he at least doesn't get out motn, so far.
I'm starting to look for cold weather clothing for the kids, and getting so frustrated over the lack of options for DD. As a skinny giant, dresses work best. Apparently ruffles, sequins, characters, and shapeless are in style right now. I don't like tons of embellishments, but just solid, basic dresses are impossible to find without spending a ton. This was easier when she was in toddler sizes.
Anyone order clothes from Primary? If so, how is sizing/quality?

fierymama ,accurate gif is accurate. And I am stealing your water balloon idea. Our neighborhood pool is like a swamp, it's so hot. So maybe no pool party. mrspiatt , Looks like my bed. Except I left and tried to go to sleep in the guest room, and she followed me whining up there. DH got involved and sent me back to my own bed. I miss cribs. Also, 21? Nope. You can't have a 21 year old Betweenthelines , I don't understand how you could possibly be tired. It's not like the past two weekends have been nuts for you. Also, way late, but how did the tea sandwiches turn out? RunsforWineandCarbs , how's the neck today? Functional, at least? jedi , you just vacuumed!! Also, I think if you throw some borax into the carpet and then vacuum it up, that might help. taketheshot , scoot over, I'm coming with you. I love water parks. looooove them. redandblue , best of luck camping. Maybe bring some condoms? Sorry if that's not helpful Pizzaslut , I will also be stealing this idea. I will be arrested for internet idea theft today, apparently. coconutbacon , at least you know what your kids will eat in college. shellyr , booarogue , sizzleb , vern , mommabakes , @45thparalelle- GOOD MORNING!! I slept last night, and DH got DD to bed and back to bed. And back to bed, and back to bed. She somehow came down and got in bed with me and I didn't even realize it. Then she kicked my bladder, so I realized she was in bed with me. I don't have any client meetings today, so I rode my bike to work, and will be able to catch up on here and on actual work stuff.

Peekaru, haha, right? August should be low key for the most part. Until the last 2 weekends (my birthday and then bachelorette party). Can't stop, wont stop! The tea sandwiches were the most raved about food at the shower, and h's aunt even told me that it's now the only thing she can get her daughter to eat for school lunches. I patted myself on the back for that one. It was so simple too - vegetable cream cheese and cucumber slices on bread, cut the crust off.

+1 mrspiatt she has to be in exact middle of MY bed. She starts on the grey one to the left. By morning, she was in the middle of the red one (where DH and I sleep). He was gone to work and I was on the edge where he usually sleeps. So then I moved back over to her bed lol.

For the past week, E has been demanding cookies and "fries" for breakfast. Fries really means pizza. Either way, we don't have either and definitely not for breakfast!

Hi! My girls let me sleep until 9!!! As opposed to our normal 6-7. For whatever reason, I now feel even more tired than usual.
Anyway, lots of studying to do today and need to make a grocery order to pick up. And also need to figure out to kill all of these damn flies in my apartment. I feel like 10 come in anytime the door is opened. I hate bugs!!!

amberlie, is your bedroom set up like a rumpus room? What's happening in there? Lol. Pretty much, yes. We have 2 mattresses side-by-side in there. Hazel used to sleep on the grey one. But then she moved into the crib and E is back in here with us. When we have the money to do so, we are going to buy a second crib/convertible toddler bed and move the girls together in their room. But this is what works for now, so we have basically half a room with the two mattresses taking up so much space. ETA thankfully our master bedroom is pretty big so we still have plenty of room to move around. I am excited for the day when they are sleeping in their room together though.

Peekaru the vet said to vaccum a few times a week for a few months. The life cycle of our friends are up to 3 months. And I read that 85-90% of the friend are in the environment in the form of egg, larve or pupa. Another gal I talk to said she vaccumed everyday for a month! Then every few days another few weeks.
