piratecat I did something similar after I participated in a couple zoom chats with HIH people and had changed my name to "That Blurnette". Completely forgot and subsequently jumped on a client's zoom call with that name. Thankfully saw it after a few minutes and quickly changed it, hut I am sure they were confused at. Lawyer Blurnette at your service! I am not a cat. Omg lol reminds me of the Covid zoom video of the lawyer that was a cat and couldn’t change the filter 🤣 And potato boss. 😆

I took ds to take your child to work day yesterday to my brother's job. He works in a super secure place and there were multiple levels of gated entrances that you had to go through to get to his area. I had a car escort me too and from through them all.
For whatever reason, being tired, a non stop talking child, on the way out, when I got to the last level, I just blew by the escort and waved, thinking I was out of the gated area. I was not.
He had to come up behind me with flashing lights. When I turned around he was like "what are you doing?". I apologized profusely and then followed him back to the correct gate.
I kind of hoped he did not go back and tell my brother what a jack ass I am......but he did.

I hope it was exciting for your daughter to see your brother's workplace once you finally got to the other side of all the secured gates!

My opinion is that in the year of 2024 people should know better than to post a death mere hours after it happens on FB. Just don’t. Take a beat. Not sure if that’s unpopular or not. Inspired by me learning of a loved one’s passing on FB. I knew it was coming but still. This happened to me a couple years back. My step cousin posted that my uncle died on Facebook before they told any of the family (including his brothers). I was at the airport and called my mom. She was pissed.
Sorry for your loss

Or watching someone's status on Whatsapp and seeing a picture of my murdered cousin in his coffin.

I really try not to judge how people handle grief and I give a wide berth. But I just wish people could wait before posting. Like you will still get support if you wait 24 hours.

I don’t know if this is common with other groups, but Latino people usually post a black ribbon as their Facebook/Instagram profile whenever someone dies. There’s no name or anything just the ribbon as a way to mourn. Sometimes they’ll say but most often than not it’s just the ribbon. The chismosa in me always hates it bc I never know who died, and I’m nosy. Sometimes I’ll stalk the reactions to find out. Confession?

Oh geez, we’re talking about death in here. I didn’t read the room. This is the message board equivalent of having my fly down. 🫠

I may have just Googled "employee performance goals" because I just couldn't think of anything. My go-to when I can’t think of anything is always ChatGPT.

Someone on my Facebook feed posted photos of their bathroom renovation. One of her friends wrote, “Enjoy every minute!” I was imagining the OP sitting on the throne doing her business, like, “I had better enjoy this particular minute! Every minute!”
(It’s Friday, I’m a little slap happy)

I follow a couple local funeral homes on FB and have ended up stalking unknown random people just based on obituaries to see if I can figure out how they died. Why are we like this?

Cyber-stalking, to clarify. Not, like, eavesdropping behind gravestones during their funerals.

Cyber-stalking, to clarify. Not, like, eavesdropping behind gravestones during their funerals. This would actually be funnier. Definitely dress like Carmen Sandiego but in black.

Anywhooo if I see a keep me in your prayers- nah I need to know what I’m praying about. I’ll scroll try to figure out what’s going on. The nosy in me kick in
