I need help finding a dress. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this Aug (ceremony) and Sept (reception). Location is Chicago-area. The only requirement is that it is in the orange color palette. I'm petite, size 0, with pretty good T&A. I prefer more fitted and simple dresses without a lot of embellishments because I'm small and too much overpowers me. I'm open on length but leaning long.
Also, there are so many websites now for dresses, Revelry, Azazie, etc. Has anyone had luck with ordering online?

I'll also go on record as stating that I hate "pick your own bridesmaid dress" directives unless they're black gowns. Giving a general color family and vague style makes more work for the wedding party. Pick a designer, pick a color, and then let people choose a style that makes them comfortable.

When I tell you my sister’s “pick your own in this color scheme” was by far the worst experience ever I mean it. She was a horror about it and nothing I picked was good enough.
I have no helpful suggestions just sympathy for how fucking annoying it is.

Also, rusty orange was my wedding color and the bride is pretty gutsy letting the BMs pick willy nilly bc orange clashes like crazy.
Unless you're the only one, and even then I'd confirm with her what she means by "orange" because that is a whole host of hues and they don't go together AT ALL.

Lulus is my go to for dresses as well. I didn't see much I loved there when I looked recently. I don't think I have the right coloring (aka pale) for a Creamsicle type color so I'm leaning more fall orange. |

There were 2 or 3 oranges last year if I remember right because orange was one of the colors we were told we could consider. |

Bride pickS color and like long or short strapless or not and send everybody to go find the style dress that fits their body type. But David's bridal is struggling to stay in business. They do have some cinnamon color dresses but that looks like the only orange |

Orange is a bold color to let people DIY.
Maybe eshakti? You can customize length, sleeve, and neckline on all of their styles.
