Thanks cali! I love your nursery, super cute. Yes, I stalk the A17 board 😬 I might as well join at this point! I'm 40+2 and trying to keep my cool. I had some pain last night before bed. It felt like menstrual cramps, I figured it's probably contractions? I was hoping it would keep going, but they went away and I woke up still pregnant. I was excited to feel something happening though! Hopefully it continues. Is anyone else have super sensitive skin right now? I itch my face and it stays red forever. And I feel like I've gotten a ton more moles and freckles. Don't even get me started on the random skin tags. I hope this stops after pregnancy. .

@easilyunamused, thanks! I love how it turned out. As much as I'd love you to join us at A17, I hope your LO makes an appearance today or tomorrow! I'm glad you're starting to feel some contractions. Is your induction scheduled or do you have another check up before?

Is your induction scheduled or do you have another check up before? I have an appointment on Wed and the induction scheduled for Friday. Hopefully I'll need neither and have this baby before then! And your baby girls coming home outfit it soooo cute 😍

Hey all, Not sure what is going on with me but yesterday morning I drank my coffee and ate my oatmeal then spent then next 10 minute projectile vomiting. This morning I couldn't sleep so I've been up since 4, had a cup of hot tea, and projectile vomited again. Of course that also made me pee my pants because, you know, pregnancy is glamorous. Do you think I should call my midwife? I'm almost 37 weeks and not sure what is going on. I fine the rest of the day yesterday but now feel like crap this morning.
Otherwise I've been feeling pretty good for the last week and have gotten a lot finished. I just need to hang the pictures in the nursery and we are finished. I'm ready for little man to come anytime now.
I start my weekly appointments on Thursday and have them scheduled out through the end of August in case I go late.
@easilyunamused, I hope your LO shows up soon!

1. How far are you now? 28 weeks 6 days 2. Symptom check: The usual - tired. I've been having a little bit of heartburn periodically. 3. What and when is your next appointment? next week! I'm on the every 2 week schedule now! 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I passed my glucose test. Whew! Also, we are probably going to sign a contract to build a new house either today or tomorrow! @easilyunamused, hobe baby comes sooner than later! king26, sorry you aren't feeling well. I would probably call the OB just to be sure it's nothing. cali, I think I am going to stalk your nursery... just a heads up

I’m 36+5. Nothing really to report. MFM tomorrow for weekly BPP, and then OB on Friday. It will be a rinse, lather, repeat of that schedule until I go in on the 16th for our RCS (unless she comes earlier). Friends of mine are throwing me a sprinkle this weekend. I’m super appreciative of the gesture, but it makes me a little uncomfortable considering it is our second kid and second girl. I don’t want to look gift grabby, and while I know no one who knows me will get that vibe, I can’t help but think of the internet and their feels on showers for subsequent pregnancies. For someone who typically gives zero fucks about other people's opinions, things like this actually make me feel self-conscious, and I don't know why. Bleh. @easilyunamused – I say this with love, GTFO of here already. Like, girl bye. I know you feel the same way, and I am just sending you sanity vibes. No advice re: sensitive skin, but I wish it was a definite sign of labor. king26 – I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. I personally wouldn’t call based solely on the projectile vomiting yesterday, but there’s never any harm in doing so if it would make you feel more comfortable. FX you start feeling better. codex320 – congrats on passing your GTT! Also, I’m jelly that you are building! It’s definitely a dream of mine.

king26, I've heard nausea can be common in third tri. I'd probably just wait to bring it up at the appointment Thursday unless it gets worse. Sorry you're dealing with that. codex320, yay for passing your gtt!!! ketchup, I don't think a sprinkle is a big deal. I get where you're coming from though, I'd feel awkward about it too. I personally am in the camp you only get a shower for your first, but I was invited to a sprinkle a couple months ago and definitely didn't judge the girl it was for because people threw it for her and she definitely didn't ask for one. Just enjoy it!

AFM, I'm 36w4d and I'm so ready to be done. I've been getting contractions every day but they only last a couple of minutes. My pelvic pain has definitely gotten worse and walking hurts a lot. I really hope I don't go all the way to my due date but since it's my first I know the odds are that I will.
We have pretty much everything ready but we still haven't agreed on a name which is stressing me. I also need to pack my hospital bag and clean my house but I'm so damn tired all the time. I want to look into hiring someone to do a deep clean before baby comes but before I can do that I have to do a surface cleaning and I just can't get motivated. Maybe today.

I want to look into hiring someone to do a deep clean before baby comes but before I can do that I have to do a surface cleaning and I just can't get motivated. Maybe today. FWIW, we didn't agree on a full name (first was picked out, middle was not) for TT until my second day in the hospital, when the guy from vital records came for like the 8th time to try and get us to fill out the paperwork for her birth certificate. Her MN is still something I go back and forth on, but clearly it is now set in government record (read: lotsa $$$ to change) stone, so it is obviously staying as is. We seem to be heading straight towards that same outcome this time, too. So, you're not alone. And get yourself that deep clean. It's so worth it. You don't have to do much to prep, really just de-clutter (and I use that term loosely). We have a permanent cleaning fairy now, but we got a single deep clean before TT was born (while I was in the hospital) and there is nothing like coming home to a professionally cleaned house. Not that you want to clean at all the first weeks, but it takes that nagging feeling off your shoulders. DO IT. Srsly.

cali, I love the going home outfit!!! and the nursery looks so cozy! ketchup, it took us a long time to figure out that for us it's worth spending the money to build rather than buy an "old" house that we may have to put money into anyway. Also, I would probably feel the same way about a second baby shower/sprinkle but if you aren't throwing it for yourself then there shouldn't be any judgement.

ketchup, thanks for the extra push. I think I'll book a cleaning service today. In fact, my mom has a cleaning fairy that she's used forever so maybe I can just ask her. codex320, thanks! I love the outfit! I just really hope it fits and she's not bigger than expected! And yes, the room is so cozy. It's become my favorite room in the house (probably because it's the only room that's super clean and organized right now).

king26, my friend who had her baby about two months ago had this issue. It was almost like her morning sickness came back in 3rd tri. Hopefully it doesn't get worse! @goofeynewfy, congrats on passing! That's such a relief. ketchup, I'd feel weird about it too. But have fun! Celebrate this new baby girl. cali, oooo I love discussing names. What are you leaning towards?

And keep sending those labor vibes please! Every night I think, this is it! I'll go into labor tonight! And then I wake up and still have an inside baby. 😝 I just want to meet him already.

Hi all! 7+1 over here. Went in last Monday for my first appointment, and here's Little Bean: The doctor told us the black area above the main sac (where the green pointer is) is just "leftover implantation bleeding." I'd never heard that term before, and I'm personally leaning more toward SCH (even though I've had zero bleeding). Someone asked me what the odds are that it's another sac and I'm pregnant with twins. I mentioned that to MH, and now he's having a panic attack. I asked the doc if it was another baby, and he said that the sac was too irregular in shape for it to be a viable baby if that's what the area is. BUT BUT BUT he didn't move the probe around at all to get a better look. And we all know how much the view changes with just the slightest movement from the probe. So I'm interested to see what we see when we go back next Monday (he wanted us to come back in so quickly to "make sure the bleeding is resolving"). We shall see. On another note, I allowed myself to order pregnancy tracker stickers for my planner last week. My therapist said it would be good for me to acknowledge this pregnancy in my planner and keep on keeping on, instead of assuming everything's going to go to shit.

longhornwino - uhm, I'm the actual worst, because I don't know when you snuck on the scene, but I totally missed it. So, please to excuse my doo doo doo self and the lack of virtual tackle hugs. SO happy you're back, lady! Alsotoo, I like this therapist person you have. She sounds like she has the smarts. I hope she's able to hold your hand, pat your hair, and give you amazing guidance to help you through the super duper fun time that is first tri with PAIF brain. We're here, too, of course.

You are definitely not the worst! I snuck in pretty quietly because I'm so terried, as is usual with PAIF and PgAL brain. And yeah, my therapist is so amazing! I've been with her since just after our failed IVF, when we thought we would end up being CLNBC. She's seen us through a lot of turmoil and is so amazing! I love that she recognizes how important my planner is to me, it's my zen and my focus and my anti-anxiety. I can't explain it other than I've never gelled with a therapist so much, and I've seen a few of them!

longhornwino, so glad things are moving along nicely for you and that you love your therapist. I think that would have been extremely beneficial for me in this pregnancy, especially first tri, but I've had a few bad therapy experiences so I'm gun shy to try again. It's so great that she's such a help and support to you!!

I think maybe DH and I are just sick. We went back to bed after lunch and slept for 3 hours. I never nap when not pregnant and even in the third tri have only napped for about an hour at a time but we both slept for 3 hours which is crazy!. Apparently little man didn't get the message though, he's been moving all day long which is unusual for him. Yay for passing your glucose test codex320, I hope your sprinkle is fun ketchup, We're just resigned that we won't have a name until the baby is here cali, We have about 5 names that are possible. It is stressful. Glad things looked good longhornwino, I hope they figure out what the black area is at your next appointment.

1. How far are you now? 37w6d 2. Symptom check: Ahh just the reguler 3rd tri stuff still. No signs of labor whatsoever as far as I can tell, which is starting to make me a little anxious haha! I worry that babygirl is so comfi in there that she's got no intention whatsoever to make her appearance any time soon, and I'm so not looking forward going over due!? 3. What and when is your next appointment? No appointment this week (oddly enough, as they had said I'd go weekly from 36wks but at my appointment on the 25th my MFM didn't schedule our next one until the 8th even though I asked?), next appointment is on Tuesday the 8th, I'll be 38w5d.. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I'm going back and forth hard between wanting baby to be here NOW and staying put for some longer (but not too long). I just feel so unprepared, but at the same time am ready to meet her too! Though we def need to finish some more baby prep, and uhm I still need to pack my hospital bag and do a final deep clean of the house (read: hire a cleaner to do this for me).. so I guess tis fine if she hangs out in my bump for at least another week? It's weird being both so done with being pregnant as not wanting for things to end/change just yet either. As this will like 99.9999% likely be my one and only pregnancy I want to enjoy it as long as I can.. but am also feeling rather done by now

@easilyunamused, how are you doing? Any updates yet? Thanks for thinking of me! I'm about to head to the dr here soon. I'm hoping to find some progress 🤞🏼. Maybe see if she can strip my membranes again and make a final decision about the induction in Friday. My PgAL/IF brain has been firing on all cylinders the past week, so I'm leaning towards just doing it. I hope I have some clarity after this appointment.

@easilyunamused did the first membrane stripping not do anything? Boooo! I also wonder... how does it feel when they do that?? *crosses legs and makes a face* It's not the most comfortable, but no more worse than a Pap smear to me. And I'm dilated to a 2, at goofynewfy. I'm sticking with the induction. Maybe this membrane sweep will help move things along. Ugh, this just isn't what I expected. But I guess that's my first mistake. Thinking it'll go any way Id want it to. As long as me and baby come out happy and healthy that's all that matters.
