Bumping this to ask for recs for clothing/outfits for this weekend. The weather looks nice , like 80F/26C during the day, 50F/14C at night. Is this shorts and sundresses weather, or more like jeans or sweater dresses? I’m only bringing a carry on, so can’t/don’t want to pack things I won’t use. I might be overthinking this. Please help lol Layers for sure! A desert 50 feels cold. I’d probably do jeans, sandals, a tank top, sunglasses, and a sweater or puffy coat in the evening. thank you! Love the insider info

Love the insider info The sunglasses are the pro-est tip on that list, do not forget them! And water, bring a water bottle with you wherever you go. A dusty desert 80 in the sun also hits different.

Make sure you hit up Cheeky's for breakfast! That's my favorite breakfast spot in Palm Springs.

I am heading to California at the end of Jan for a quick weekend away. Just Friday to Monday night, Flying into/out of LA and driving out to Palm Springs for a bit. Looking for recs for restaurants and activities! Hiking, runs/walks, fun or unique sights to see. How was it? Anything you would recommend from your time there?

I wish we had a couple more days though, it did feel a bit rushed. In retrospect, I’d skip Hollywood blvd/walk of the stars and spend a bit more time in Malibu or hiking up to the Hollywood sign. Also another day in Palm Springs to explore a bit more would have been fab. Joshua Tree - amazing, cool sights. Venice beach - pretty great, also this bakery was amazing and I tell everyone about it: gjusta.com/Palm Springs - we stayed at a cute boutique hotel there which was nice and central: alcazarpalmsprings.com/
