Yup. There’s a weird video of her backstage with boygenuis being goofy at best but really annoying and or drunk more likely. There’s even some hate on her fan pages. Just mostly that she’s obviously really high on herself right now and it’s a bad look. It’s like people are waking up to her persona. lol. The way everyone looked after she announced her album was eye opening It sure seemed like a misfire. Like this is an industry event, not a fan event. Read the room. |

According to what the algorithm has been feeding me it’s all of it. The oversaturation, announcing an album during the show, dragging Lana del ray on stage after she just lost aoty, the Celine thing. I’ve read the room was professional but over her. Yup. There’s a weird video of her backstage with boygenuis being goofy at best but really annoying and or drunk more likely. There’s even some hate on her fan pages. Just mostly that she’s obviously really high on herself right now and it’s a bad look. It’s like people are waking up to her persona. lol. I just finally watched the video of the Tracy/Luke duet and I was so annoyed by how much Taylor was shown during the song. I am not seeing hate on my feeds though. Just heavy panting and salivating. |

I did have to eyeroll the memes I saw right after that were like "Taylor won album of the year AND announced her new album during a world tour and I can't do my laundry all in one day." Like, she has an entire team surrounding her and endless supplies of money. Your laundry would not even be your problem if you were her level.

Acknowledging that Celine Dion just handed you an award, someone you claim to look up to, by simply saying wow Celine Dion just handed me an award would have saved her. Hell just looking at her when taking the award after making her stand there while you hugged everyone including Lana who just lost is a choice. Oh and the people mad about Jay z’s speech and calling it classless and saying that he took away from Taylor’s win by making it seem like she didn’t deserve it should probably listen to it again and allow themselves to be uncomfortable. It’s been 25 years since a black woman has won that award so 🤷♀️

If that’s the metric we’re following Bey should have won both times. And if it’s not the metric we’re using, midnights shouldn’t have won based on critical reception alone. |

And I say all this about Beyonce as a mini fan. I’m not part of the beehive but I do love her music and her willingness to change the game and her love of the music.
And everyone who always says there is no competition between Taylor and Beyonce you can like both are correct there shouldn’t be a competition in a sense (obviously both want to be #1 etc) but it should be noted that they do the exact same thing and yet Beyonce is expected to work harder to get the accolades Taylor does

What was the Celine thing? I only watched a few YouTube clips from the show. Celine presented album of the year and I guess TS just took the award from her without any acknowledgment or even eye contact. There was some PR pedaling later. Thank you. That is shitty. She really does come off as high on her own farts right now. |
