Dd got the real one from my mom for her birthday and wore it this weekend while shopping and I was jealous. I may need to put this on my list I bought this one in ivory to take on a field trip & I'm not as big of a fan of the style as I thought I would be. Oh! A Hatch alarm clock for the kids. Stupidly expensive for a clock but they wake in such better moods with the gentle timed wake up. 30 minutes before they have to be up, it’s starts slowly lighting up like a sunrise and playing birdsong (their choice). When it’s time to be up, it’s “full sunlight” and plays an interesting fact or story. At bedtime, there is a sunset followed by nightlight with white noise. And I can change the settings whenever I want with the app on my phone. I want one of these for myself but unfortunately I have a husband who sleeps in the same room I do 🤣 |

Also,
I will say my kids yoto minis. They get used DAILY. My 12 year old and five year old both have their own. They are releasing more and more content for older kids, but usually I just preload audiobooks for my 12 year old onto it. I remind BOTH of them, that if we are in the car they each need to bring their own because they will argue if one of them brought them and the other didn't and what to listen to.
Seriously the best investment ever--but I am a huge book/audiobook fan, so anything that promotes that I kind of love to begin with.

Also, I was at Home Goods and in the dangerous check out line found a Pound Puppy dog toy, and if you are an elder millennial such as myself and have a canine at home...let me just say it will bring you joy.

For audible you have to get a program to convert them. So I use downpour and librofm mostly. Librofm runs decent sales every now and then. I subscribe to them to so I use my credits for the more expensive ones (Percy Jackson namely) |

STP those last two suggestions were deeply felt by me. I was going to post asking for a coffee maker rec. I used to make a full pot every single day but H gave up caffeine earlier this year and so now I make these small pots and I’m wondering if I need a more versatile set up. Also, I’m dying to repurpose my bar cart to a coffee and tea station, so obvi I need a new coffee appliance.

I sing their praises at any opportunity, but this local-to-me women-owned company makes fabulous leather shoes, boots, purses, and accessories.
