I saw Lance was at a football game and held up a sign that said “Not Taylor Swift”. It was cute. I think Lance is the best thing that came out of ‘Nsync. I don’t know if he’s been ruined but I hope not. He seems like a gem. I think he's like the lone celeb that hasn't been ruined |

She would never get away with not naming him. “My longtime boyfriend when we were both young who was also in the industry”… come on. Yeah I was coming to say this. And if she didn’t the press would be hounding everyone for answers anyway. There was no good way to share that story without naming him. HOWEVER Without reading the book she could have shared she had an abortion and felt pressure from all sides to have the abortion without naming him or anyone else. |

He was going to be asked about it regardless and then assumed it was him anyway given the timeframe. |

I also think (again without reading the context of the book) she could have phrased it differently if it is indeed phrased as she was forced/pressured by him. But this is all conjecture since we only have seen snippets and then People ran with it

So funny timing because it was just the anniversary of this. But when we had the big earthquake in 1989, my dad worked with a bunch of people in the Midwest. Based on what they say in the news they assumed the Bay Area had broken off and we were all dead. They sent a fax to his work that was like “are you alive?” Handwritten in big letters. Which of course he didn’t get until like a week later when phone lines had been restored. How did we even live like that?? I remember that quake so well, it was my first real experience feeling one (consciously) despite being a 7th generation Californian. I felt it all the way in my small suburb of Sacramento. I was watching a VHS of my favorite movie at the time after school, The Little Mermaid. 😆 My parents moved us from OH to CA in June 1989, so when the earthquake hit a few months later they were very wtf. 😂 Didn’t deter them, I guess! |
