People are all "OMG Britney gets to speak her truth" about her book. I do not believe it's all her and her decision. I do not believe for one minute that BS is free. So I don't believe this book may or may not necessarily be her truth.
I haven't heard anything come out about her drug use or the millions of dollars that she lost (prior to the Cship).

I do not believe BS was keeping any baby with JT either. She was pushing that virginity shit back then. That was a choice. Many acts were out during the same time and did not choose to push that narrative.

I don’t know if JT “forced” her. But I think there was no chance she was having that baby. She was a commodity to a lot of people, making money off her. Nobody on her team would let that happen. This exactly. I can't imagine anyone on her team would've encouraged her to have the baby. She was 20 when they broke up and at the height of fame, a baby would've put a lot of people off the payroll. I do wonder if this has something to do with how fast her relationship with KFed went, she would've gotten pregnant within 6-ish months after meeting him. And she married him the same year she married Jason Alexander. Maybe she thought if she were married her team would be more receptive to her having a baby? |

I'll read this book when my library gets it, but I don't feel she's a reliable narrator at all. Like, she's been through a lot and still suffers a lot, so I'll read it with even more of a grain of salt than most memoirs. |

They're just releasing hot little tidbits right now to drum up buzz. The JT abortion stuff is more likely to get people to buy the book than if they were teasing her drug use. |

I remember that quake so well, it was my first real experience feeling one (consciously) despite being a 7th generation Californian. I felt it all the way in my small suburb of Sacramento. I was watching a VHS of my favorite movie at the time after school, The Little Mermaid. 😆 I was only 2 during that quake, but I do have a memory of going to my grandma’s house afterwards and all her trinkets were all over the floor. My mom said driving from her work to my daycare was terrifying. We lived in San Jose at the time. Also, apparently they did an earthquake drill at school today because my 6 year old was asking me all sorts of what-if questions this evening. They do the Great Shake Out at schools here around the anniversary. They also did an earthquake warning alert that was supposed to go out at 10:18 am but errantly got sent at 3:18 am so people were big mad yesterday. I didn’t get it for some reasons. Thankfully. |

This is probably an UO but I am sorry - I do not buy the JT forced BS to get an abortion thing. I believe he said he was not ready. I believe he could have said that he would prefer she get an abortion. That's not force. She was a multimillionaire and had so many resources available to her at that time. This isn't some high school teen mom. And no, I do not believe her dad forced her or anything like that. Many people like to block this part of history out but during this time, her dad was not involved in her business. He was not even in the same state as her. He was not a stage dad following her about. He was brought into her business later on in her life. Exactly, her sister had a baby as a teenager. I think BS could have had that baby. |

I mostly agree, with the 1 caveat that the abortion was HER medical event, so him talking about her medical event would be different from her disclosing her own, in my own right/wrong scale. I know that it is not actually that black and white though because it does intimately involve him as well. |
