I had my aim go to my phone then. Then I could respond to the person via aim via text. It was so weird and wonky and probably like $62/text. But it got the job done. My rich friends had Trios, BlackBerrys and Sidekicks. But I was for the streets, so I had a Nextel and walked around loudly walkie-talkie’ing everyone. Oh my God, my first phone was a Nextel too. My whole family, even my extended family, had Nextels. So we would "beep" at each other as we called it all the time to save on minutes.

I couldn’t be a well known celebrity. I’d be paranoid AF about everything and distrustful of everyone. I’m not a fan of swifter but I imagine that when you’re at that level of fame everything stops being fun. I can’t imagine trying to find the balance of living your life but also being scrutinized for it. Yes I realize that’s what we do in this thread lol It’s why I couldn’t do it lol She actually references this in her doc. She'll just having a normal studio session with this guy and he says something about it. Something like she's always trying to twist herself into a pretzel. Pleasing people but not pissing them off too.

The Mahomes just had to move for privacy. No offense to the Missouri area (yes, Travis lived in Missouri), but I don’t think they’re too used to celebs. I’ve gotten more targeted blogs/news stories showing me Travis’s house, address, layout than I ever asked for. Like just because it’s public record, doesn’t mean you have to run a story on it. I click obviously bc I’m nosy. I get why that might push someone to move. Also, the Missouri house has a heavy vibe of “single guy gets his first huge paycheck”. It’s very 90’s McMansion, bachelor pad. He has 2 SB rings, he was due for an upgrade and an interior designer. I saw he was looking to upgrade and move into a gated community months ago. Maybe this pushed up his plans, but pretty sure these were his plans regardless. I’ve also seen his current house and address before all the Taylor stuff and didn’t go searching for any of it so I don’t blame him for wanting more privacy/security. I also think they've been together longer than people think, not weeks. Like months. And why would he lie about when he bought it? Did someone say that? That's weird.

I thought the beach show star was dating the comic. Maybe they are, but he took a female fan back to the place he was staying last night and it wasn't to read the 12 steps.

So google is telling me Britney and Justin broke up in March 2002. Were people texting much in 2002? I grew up in a pretty remote part of Michigan and didn’t even have a cell phone until 2003, and I don’t remember texting a lot the first couple years I had it. Which really makes the text breakup even more egregious. Like did he have to compose the whole text using the number keys?? I had a Kyocera (Nokia-like) and was def texting a guy I wanted to meet up with on fall break 2002. It was slow and expensive and I recall my parents and our family friends being annoyed I kept staring at my phone 🤣🤣

When I met my husband (2003) he had a fax in his bedroom. His mom bought it for him. Like he was some business frat man. Idk why this is so funny to me.

I don’t even know what this is! Upper Michigan did not provide a lot of options lol It does sometimes feel like going back in time 20 years up there 😂 Oh I know, we go up once a year to see family. It’s quaint and nostalgic but also a little bizarre.

But when we had the big earthquake in 1989, my dad worked with a bunch of people in the Midwest. Based on what they say in the news they assumed the Bay Area had broken off and we were all dead. They sent a fax to his work that was like “are you alive?” Handwritten in big letters. Which of course he didn’t get until like a week later when phone lines had been restored. How did we even live like that??

Some of the things he said on the podcast before they went public make me think so too. Like before her concert in KC. I am sure he met people who know people when he did SNL in March.

One time when I was working in Norristown in like 2002 I got scammed on a Nextel deal some guy that came into my work was going to hook us up with. 😂 Instead he just hooked himself up with our money. I was so close to that walkie talkie life and it slipped through my fingers.

I felt it all the way in my small suburb of Sacramento. I was watching a VHS of my favorite movie at the time after school, The Little Mermaid. 😆

My mom said driving from her work to my daycare was terrifying. We lived in San Jose at the time. Also, apparently they did an earthquake drill at school today because my 6 year old was asking me all sorts of what-if questions this evening.

I don't know how wide spread it is but every one does earth quake drills today. It's like an earth quake holiday.

Yes something is lost in translation because H/M also never asked for privacy but yet that is said anytime something comes out about them. And again nothing about the house is bad and yes he did allude to it being for safety of her that his timeline was moved up. No one said he sucks ass for doing it I said that it’s weird to me that we can eye roll AWing and anything about any celebrity but Taylor is off limits it’s not off-limits, people are just disagreeing with you about the house. I never said anything about the house though but cool cool

I have to find it. Will is visibly upset and telling her to stop filming and she ignores and keeps asking him questions. It makes me feel weird. I saw she gave an interview this week saying they would move back together eventually. I need to just keep telling myself this is some weird Scientology thing bc I’m feeling sad for Will. But like, Tom Cruise is telling them to do this or something, right? I very much remember that video and how much I disliked her

Julia Fox saying her relationship with Ye was unsustainable because he needed a full time person and 'I didn't sign up to have 2 babies' is cracking me up today.
I know we're mad at Drew but it was on her show.
