It is extremely rare that a studio has to tell a star of a movie they are trying to get buzz for, to stop talking about said movie. In this case though, the star of the live action version of a classic is causing trouble every time a microphone is put in her face. The studio has had horrible luck this year and next year is going to be bad too if she keeps talking. It makes people dig into her past and things only get worse when that happens.

I don’t doubt she’s had some work done, but she loooooves her filters and she doesn’t exactly look like that either. She also had a baby in 2021 and gained a lot of weight (no shade) with that pregnancy which is very obvious in her face over the next year. |

I like J Love. she’s such a Gen X weirdo with her posts though. All her selfies look like those OG Snapchat filters. She’s so beautiful though, she doesn’t need them. I was scrolling fb recently and saw a random ad type post about her and her career and it had a picture of her from her prime with her in a bathing suit type top and jeans with the waist-band cut off, and I had a visceral response to it because I remember the pressure of developing curves while being bombarded of pictures of her, Britney, Christina, Mariah, etc. in those years with those jeans showing their hip bones and thongs and 0 percent body fat yet their huge breasts and their full hips and butts still, and trying to attain that myself as a teen/young adult, and knowing the damage that did to me. I can only imagine the damage that did to each of those talented women who were in the public eye and expected to attain and maintain that image and that their careers depended on it. |
