I loved the name Dawson for a boy. After Jack Dawson from Titanic.
Sydney for a girl.

I only had boy names but they were Mason and Brodie. Those are my nephew's names ![](https://m.popkey.co/6458d0/edRA1_f-maxage-0_s-200x150.gif) I have always thought that they go well together.

I have not read any of this yet but I'm expecting to see "Summer Rain"😂 I was going to name my future daughter Rayne Kathryn, because teenager. Fortunately I didn't have kids until well into my 30s and we ended up with boys anyway. I don't think I ever had boy names I loved as a teenager. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

My gave it a thumbs down. When I was a teen I remember loving the names Chloe, Francesca, Genevieve and Cleo for a girl. I think I was reading a lot of Danielle Steele novels. I think I liked the boy names of like Harry and Greg 🤔

Not 16 but when I was around 10-11, my favorite girls names were "Spider Ann" and "Winnetka". My BFF never lets me forget it.

At 16, Abigail or Spencer. Abigail got way too popular, but we did discuss Spencer if DD had been a boy. When I was slightly younger than 16 I wanted twin girls named Jordan Taylor and Taylor Jordan 🙄 I also wanted Zac Hanson to be the dad so.... I wonder if that would have been weird for Zac, naming his kid after his brother ....

I also assumed he would be so spellbound by my sexual prowess that he would give in to my every whim.

I would have done Ava or Noah - I still really like Ava, but it's just so darn popular. Noah is not a name I would choose now. 16-year-old me wasn't too outlandish, I guess.

I wanted twin girls Ellington and Emerson.
I suggested both names to DH both times we were expecting. Both times he turned them down. Hard.
Then randomly I also liked Matteo for a boy.

This will definitely show my age, but I wanted twins and I'd call them Brenda and Brandon...

Oh! I forgot about another name I wanted for a girl- Joan, but I would call her Johnny.
I don't remember even thinking about boy names.

Or is it a case of German embarrassment?

Am I allowed to point out that "Jame" is the name of the literal skin suit guy on silence of the lambs?

And to not just drive by, my 16 year old self loved Micah Benjamin for a boy, and my much earlier self was all about Trisha for a girl, but not Patricia. I had anti "Pa" feelings. And bad taste. Lol.

Funny that's mentioned because it was the setting for the 90s tv show "Sisters"- and one sister was named Theodora, nn Teddy, which was my favorite future baby name. Ten year old me planned to have a daughter named Laura - after Laura Ingalls Wilder.
