Clean up after your kids. Yes! Like I get it traveling with kids is hard I’m not discounting that but that doesn’t mean you aren’t responsible for their messes |

The popcorn thing has me so confused and I keep seeing it everywhere Her kid spilled a bunch of popcorn and she was asked to clean it up and because she's pregnant her husband is pissed about it? Is there more to the story? They are claiming she is high risk pregnant and was forced on her hands and knees and humiliated. The popcorn was the in flight snack so she feels they shouldn’t have given it out then if they were worried about mess. I’m sure it’s one of those stories where there are 3 sides and only one is the truth we will never hear Oh....I dont think I believe them then. Lol. This is a lot |

(I'm 99% sure one of the kids was 5) A kindergartener surely knows how to pick up some popcorn... |

I don’t know why I’m so invested in this story Probably because the other news stories today are to much for me This is me too. I almost posted if you guys had seen but didn’t want to spend any more time on it. Reddit was making fun of how the H posted on twitter to get sympathy and ended up getting roasted. |

I’m not saying it wasn’t given out by the airline but I’m skeptical. I’ve never seen popcorn given out by an airline and I just flew united and didn’t have that. It wasn’t even in the boxes they sold.
She claims the flight attendant said the captain ordered that it be picked up.
I don’t believe it.
Also, once you notice it’s spilling all over, that’s when you need to figure something out. Ask for a cup, etc.

Also, I know lots of people do it, but the AAP considers popcorn a choking hazard for kids under 4. I wouldn't continue bragging about my 2yo eating it

I travel a lot. I’ve never seen popcorn given out as the snack. Maybe it’s sold in one of those snack boxes….? But also - and I could be ignorant here - if she’s too high risk to get down on hands and knees to pick up popcorn, should she be flying? I just always though if you were high risk you should not fly at all in case something happened mid flight.

Well I wanted to say this but didn’t want to be taken away but yes he was all my 22 week pregnant wife who is high risk shouldn’t have to clean…….umm if she is that high risk why is she flying alone with 2 kids??? Yes I know we don’t know their life and she could have had to fly for some personal important reason but you make millions fly her with help |

I’m still thinking about this and even if the airline gave it out, it would be the tiniest portion ever and take 30 seconds to pick up if the entire thing was spilled. Come on now.

This A- list mostly movie actress is an Oscar winner/nominee. She had some very bad press this week, so is trying to remind everyone about her Oscar nomination/win. You can purchase food (popcorn) on flights, which is obviously what was done here. Regardless of if it was purchased or given out, if you make a mess you clean it up. Yeah, I don't understand why free popcorn would make the situation better. They just made it worse with that part 🤣 |

Clean up after your kids. Always and forever, amen. My kids are old enough now to clean up after themselves in these situations, but we are that family stacking plates and cleaning up any mess on the table at a restaurant before we leave. Nobody should be cleaning up after your mess unless you literally pay them to do just that. |

We fly with our kids a ton. I don’t get on my hands and knees, but I pick up every snack I see, clean out seat backs, wipe down seats. Every time, when deplaning, I’m blown away by how people leave airplane seats. I feel like in the past year, it’s gotten completely out of control. And not just kids, grown adults just leaving stuff on the floor, leaving trash behind. I feel like if I a FA said something, it must have been a damn mess.

I think the airline gave out popcorn. JetBlue has a whole snack selection. And if you’re flying business (which I’m assuming they were), there’s always fun food. That doesn’t even get an eyebrow raise from me.

I hate flying and when I do, I am usually on xanax to help my anxiety, but do airplanes have brooms or anything like that? Even if we assume that everything she said is correct, I kind of doubt they couldn't find a broom or dustpan if she had been reasonable and asked for one. The whole thing reeks of "do you know who I am?"
