Did they buy those at a Walking Dead prop close-out sale?

If I saw those with no context, I would guess William for his, but would have no idea who Kate’s was supposed to be.

I don’t know. I feel like they captured Williams essence 😈 He looks an awful lot like Andrew.

Kate’s kind of looks like Keri Russel cosplaying as Kate.

The outfit Faux Kate is wearing is more Meghan than Kate.

So, I get that those are their rightful titles now that they're grandchildren of the monarch and it's up to H&M whether they want to use them. But it speaks to the "they don't mind the perks of the monarchy" thing we've discussed to death.

The real Kate at a military medic training session in Salisbury. Apparently, she is now the Colonel of the Irish Guards. Maybe there's precedent here, but I don't like fatigues cosplay. I don't even like camo print on regular clothes. And I have no military connection myself.

Technically that is her legal name right? Does that give the kids security? I’m guessing not since Harry is still a Prince technically and doesn’t get it It’s not going to go over well and they should have refused.

Whichever) route and let the kids decide when they turn 18. And no it doesn’t give the kids security is my understanding.

The fact that it took this long means some stuff was happening behind the scenes

Then it’s ceremony and not necessary to use the titles and they need to not

Maybe they are using the titles and are going to the coronation? I’m assuming deals everywhere lately with this kinda stuff lol.

My guess not based on fact or anything is you are right but Charles still tried hence the longer time in changing them on the site

I just think it's harder to undo an existing LP than to issue a new one without precedent (ex. 2012 when QE issued a new LP that the line of succession would not be dependent on sex prior to George's birth).

I’d love to be a fly on the wall right now. The Frogmore mess, christening with the low-key announcement of Lili’s title, negotiations about the coronation. It’s got to be messy and I love it.
Team petty and I’d show up and show off.

If they are only using the title for formal events, wouldn't it make sense that the christening was the first time it was used? I don't see a problem with the timing.

Archie has been baptized for some time. Archie wasn’t eligible because Elizabeth was still the reigning monarch. Per the letters patent they need to be the grandchildren of the reigning monarch or (in Elizabeth’s updated letter) the children of the direct line (ie Will’s kids because he’s next after Charles). 1917 letters patent would have made it so Charlotte and Louis didn’t get their Princess/Prince titles until Charles became King, just like Archie and Lilibet.
