Took the day off work since I have the sinus cold that won't end. Just finished a book and put on HGTV while I figure out what to do today.

All my maternity clothes are clean and folded. Today I MUST remove everything from my dressers that I won't wear for a long time and situate my Mat stuff. Make me accountable to this!

Today is my Friday! Tomorrow morning we, along with H's entire family, are headed to the beach until Monday. The guys will spend most of their time out fishing while the ladies and kids hang on the beach. I am so looking forward to this vacation. I'm obviously a glutton for punishment, going at 30 weeks pregnant with a toddler in tow. But it's vacation nonetheless.

Yesterday evening I discovered I could order cut fabric for pick up at Joanns And other items too! So I placed a bunch orders and will be picking them up in a little bit after I finish my morning snack. So excited that I don't have to wait till next week or week after for mail order and I can start working on fella#2 stuff! They had some cute prints which I can live with and bonus with sales and coupons so can't complain.

H and I are discussing our next duty station. I always expected this would be an easy discussion for us, but it's not!
He's craving a little more adventure and I'm over here trying to be realistic about the logistics of moving our house (4 cats and a baby!)

Is this conversation a need to have now or just a fun to have now? If you don't need to decide for a while maybe wait until after she is born? Not like 0-3 months are the best time for big decisions but I can imagine you both may look at things differently once she is here!

This month is our last month to pick before the Navy picks for us lol. To be fair, he had some juju and wasn't able to look until 2 months ago, so we kind of got the shaft and only get 3 months of looking.

I'm so tired today. I almost dozed off at a stoplight. Last night wasn't even a bad night. DS slept through until 6:30, i only woke up once to pee, and a handful of times to roll over. DS is watching Little Baby Bum and singing along while i am sitting on the couch playing on my phone because i don't feel like doing anything.

rebeccabunch That has been the most I've done all week. It's been a slow productivity decline, which is too bad because the weather this week has been perfect pregnant summer weather, cool and cloudy. duskymonkey Thanks! cythe That would be very stressful, once you find out where you will be going do they give you much time to arrange your move?

cythe That's good that you'll have time to prep. I know someone who's dog is better travelled than me, due to them being posted overseas for a number of years. It's cost them a lot of money to bring him along since their employer doesn't cover pets when they move.

Not much going on today. Normal work day and a plumber coming to install our new dishwasher. I noticed this morning that my linea nigra is now making its appearance, or at least it is the first time I realized it was there for this pregnancy.
Also, I am realizing that now that I weigh more than I did with my pregnancy with DS, my maternity pants and shorts are all feeling too small. I really don't want to invest in another size up of maternity clothes, but I might have to with 3 months still to go and more growing to do.

I feel like all my over belly maternity clothes are pulling in my ribs, and it is extremely uncomfortable. I also have been forced to retire almost all of my not officially maternity shirts that kind of work. I'm bitter, but getting ready to shop zulily for options.

As far as "cool stuff to do on the Navy's dime" we'd love to be able to live abroad but realistically I don't think it's a great option for us. Japan, New Zealand are on the table now, but my mom has informed me that we cannot go to Japan because she's afraid of Kim Jong Un. Other then that, it's stateside options : Cali, Texas, Connecticut, Annapolis MD, Chicago. Mostly he's just not impressed with the job options right now.

cythe, i don't like any of the options. Tell them you want the Pacific NW. K thanks. I decided to force productivity from myself. I have washed whites, delicates, and towels; did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen; gathered and took out the recycling; and made a healthy lunch that DS actually ate. Now it is nearly naptime, and I'm so excited.

Guy in break room at work: "You look like you're ready to pop!" Me: "I have a while to go so I hope not." Guy: "Oh, how much further do you have?" Me: "At least a couple months." Guy: "Oh. Wow. You do have a while don't you?" Me: ..... Guy: "I mean it's just all right there", with his hands in front of his belly like he's holding a basketball. Guy: "It's sticking out pretty far!" Me: "I know..................."
He should learn when to shut up. We ran into him at the zoo with his family on July 3rd and he has three kids. He had a pregnant wife THREE TIMES. He should know better.

He should know better. Why is it that men with children have the WORST verbal diarrhea when it comes to talking to pregnant women? Men without kids tend to shut up (I think they're scared to say the wrong thing), but dudes I know with kids end up getting the side-eye. One man I work with that has 4 kids keeps saying the weirdest stuff. There's another guy that I think has a pregnant lady fetish and I've been avoiding him. He creeps me out. Why is it so hard for people to NOT comment on other people's bodies? Also, a random woman rubbed my belly today. It was at our family orientation program and I was about to present so I had to be polite, but I was pissed.

I just started watching Younger last night when I couldn't sleep. . It gets better as it goes on! I'm interested to hear what you think. I've heard it's good, so I'm giving it a chance. So far, Hilary Duff kind of annoys me and it doesn't quite feel like it's hit its stride, but I'm only 3 episodes in. I'm going to keep watching.

It really finds its way starting season 2 but def makes improvements as season 1 goes on. It's a light show and I think the peak into publishing is fun. Hillary Duff gets less annoying. The fashion gets better too.

Little one was kicking so much yesterday I couldn't sleep. Today has been pretty good. Walk and pool time with DD. cythe my friend just went through duty station assignment. They didn't get picked up one month, but then got their second choice the next month. They wanted FL, but they are coming to MD, so I'm selfishly happy about that. They're in OK right now, and soon they'll only be a couple hours from me.
