Congrats on closing tomorrow! csho Sounds like you are one step closer to figuring out what's going on cagoldi. When you say the treatment options aren't great, do you mean that the problem could persist? Hope L feels better tomorrow chrisy01.

Congrats on the house, so exiting! wedding I'm sorry C had a rough afternoon, hopefully thing are better soon. inthekitty ewwww what a creep! mwhip have fun at the lake! cagoldi, glad you got at least some answers, hopefully the immunologist can pin point it down further and combined can make some sort of treatment plan. Until then, the not knowing must suck, I'm sorry 😕.

Crappy side effects and no cure, most treatments only help for a short time, if at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sorry, @goldi. I sure it helps getting some answers, but it is still really frustrating.

Morning!
My back is all tweaked up and my stomach is tossing. I've been feeling this way for a couple of days, but it all seems to have come to a head this morning. We have dance this morning, and then the plumber is coming for the toilet and the handyman is coming for the wall/ceiling. I'm hoping it stays cloudy because I'd like to just stay on the couch all day

I'm sorry cagoldi. I mean I'm glad they have SOMETHING to tell you, for I wish it was something far more treatable.

I'm sorry, Goldi, that sucks. How are you feeling about all this? Pretty rough, honestly. But if there is any silver lining, it's a good thing I followed my instincts and didn't nurse X at all. Even though I decided on formula long ago, I second guessed myself on several occasions but ultimately decided since they don't know if my condition was communicable (it isn't) that I shouldn't do it. Turns out most women who do have this condition and try to BF or pump get mastitis so badly their milk ducts require removal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

cagoldi, I'm sorry the treatment isn't a cure. I have a skin condition that is the same way, I can treat it and it will go away temporarily, but it will always come back. Unlike your situation, mine is not painful, just a pigmentation thing. Is surgery an option?

Unlike your situation, mine is not painful, just a pigmentation thing. Is surgery an option? Only if they are so bad they are majorly painful and have a lot of tunneling. So it's not something that's done as a preventative, just to take care of it if it gets really bad. But apparently they usually come back even after surgery. So I'm hoping mine never gets that bad. I guess they can become malignant in certain spots too so I suspect if I got any in that area they might want to do surgery? I'm Stage 1 now, the pictures of people with Stage 2 and 3 are the stuff of nightmares. This is bad enough. Hopefully I can manage it so it never progresses. ETA: never mind, just looked at my pathology report again and it's Stage 2. Also, that should be squamous cell carcinoma, not melanoma. Sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
