The inlaws took ds to the aquarium yesterday. I deep cleaned one bathroom, the family room, and started the dining room before dd was uncooperative. Then she took a nap on me. The corner neighbor invited us over so I guess she likes me. The kids were so cute together! Circle time today. I need to get out for a walk, it's been a couple days and I can feel my leg muscles tightening. pibblemom hope you had a better night! Dd went down okay but still got up twice. Sighs.

My supply plummeted yesterday and I pumped 5 ounces less than normal. It's the first time I've ever not had enough for bottles while pumping for either baby 🙁 I'm spiraling that this is the end of nursing and thinking about asking the doc to do M's weight check sooner so we can make changes if this pumping drop is indicative of my overall supply. Breastfeeding is always such a mind game for me!

Hi! Yesterday was a long day, DD had a weird episode right before lunch where she got really lethargic and clammy and slightly unresponsive. It has happened couple times before but right when she woke up and the first time it happened we called the nurses line because it was on the weekend and they said it could be low blood sugar and to give her juice. So that is what I've done every time but this time of the middle of the day so it made me really nervous. Anyway we went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and she also said it sounded like low blood sugar but that DD needed to have a fasting blood test. So now this morning as soon as she wakes up mh is taking her to a lab to have blood drawn. I feel so bad, I know it's going to be traumatic for her. I'm really glad MH said he would take her because I don't know how I would do. Anyway, any warm thoughts and prayers y'all want to send my way would be greatly appreciated. We are all hoping that she does have low blood sugar because these episodes could be a myriad of other things that are a lot scarier than low blood sugar.

In the neverending snafu that is dd's insurance, the awful old insurance company still thinks dd is on their plan because cobra didn't tell them coverage had ended even though her weight check last month was on the new insurance? I'm not even mad, I'm just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what the hell at this point.

meeggaannw , happy thoughts to you guys. Baby A had blood work done last week (omg so sad to see an itty bitty baby with an IV!). She boo-hoo'd for a minute or two, and then she was fine. I don't think it was traumatic

Morning! carrots, I hope it's just a temporary dip and that your supply goes back to normal. meeggaannw, poor thing, I really hope everything runs or ok. I'll be thinking of her today. So today is H's birthday. We started our new healthy lifestyle Monday so no cake. Someone on parenting gave me an awesome rec for a watermelon cake. Ds, baby, and I are heading out soon to buy all necessary supplies. Wish us luck, I am not really gifted in the kitchen but this seems easy enough. Famous last words.

carrots, could it just be your body starting to cycle again? A few months ago I got a "sort of" period, and my supply dropped for a few days. Then came right back, not before I lost my mind though. meeggaannw, lots of good vibes for you and your DD today ❤ I'm thinking about reverting back to BF only for a few days. We just started solids this week, and C was still very hard to put down last night, then threw up EVERYWHERE this morning after nursing. She's not typically a spitter at all, and this was more than ever, a little chunky. I'm wondering if her gut is just not ready for solids yet? My MIL is still trying to get me to try rice cereal. I just don't get it, it seems non-nutritive to me. Did any of you start there?

That's what I'm hoping pibblemom! I remember something similar when my period came back after DS but didn't know what to expect since I got an IUD this time. On the solids front, I would consider taking a few days off then trying again. I agree with you on rice cereal...I don't really see a point since there's no nutrition (other than any iron fortification) and it's generally not super easy to digest.

I'm there with you carrots and judyblume14. My output is down and I've been digging into my freezer stash. This didn't happen with DD until 9ish months, so I'm discouraged that it's starting earlier with B. I still have a goal of making it to a year, but with the lower pumping output at work I'm less certain we'll make it now. It gives me all the feels. Oh meeggaannw - how stressful! Sending lots of good vibes your way. Fingers crossed it's nothing more than a little low blood sugar. pibblemom, I have daycare giving B rice/oatmeal cereal for "breakfast", but I give them 2oz of breast milk to use instead of water, so that makes me feel better about it's nutritional value. The inch-worming is hilariously adorbale Lakes! Happy bday to your H heybulldog! Good luck with the "cake"!

I'm working from home today and couldn't be happier about it. I dropped the kids off, ran 2 errands and was online all before I would have even pulled into the work parking lot. Lunchtime break will include laundry and some food prep for the week. Also, DH and I spent an hour the other night purging clutter and my cleaners came yesterday, so I'm enjoying a cleaner-than-usual house!

E tried pulling up to stand yesterday. She was almost successful. Yikes.
Trigger A year ago today I began to loose Maggie. Tomorrow is her actual birthday since she was born just before 1am. I am baking a cake for her tonight and tomorrow we will do a balloon release to her. There have been so many signs and things reminding me of her lately.

Thanks ladies. She did alright this morning. She was pretty Whiny about it all morning every time she remembered but she seems fine now. She jerked when they did it so they had to stick her twice but my said the lady did a good job. Crossing my fingers she is just having sugar issues.

carrots, I am in the middle of a big supply drop too, pumping output wise. I normally pump 8 oz at my first pump at work, and today I pumped 3 (!!!!!). L has been wanting to nurse a lot at night this week so I'm wondering if I'm just less tanked up in the AM or something. meeggaannw, gosh, how scary. Hoping everything is okay. peaseblossom55, so many hugs to you.

Lakes eeeek for motion! L is doing this weird inchworm forward slide thing where he gets up on his legs and then slides forward on his face. It's cray. We gave L some food last night for the first time. He was going nuts and screaming at the food on the table, so we threw some on his tray. He didn't actually eat much, but loooooved sucking on some broccoli. It felt rather anticlimactic for MH and I, but our 2 year old started yelling "He's eating it! He's eating iiitttt!!! MOM LOOOOKKK!!". I swear he gets more excited about milestones than anyone else.

Yesterday was fairly uneventful. I definitely didn't eat enough and had a headache before noon that would not back off until after dinner. My manager had something from a vegan Thai place nearby and the onion smell was so strong it burned my nose and made my headache so bad that I got nauseous. Glad he enjoyed it -.- No one else thought it smelled that strong but whatever. I also found out my SIL (who is working up in CO) is going to be stuck working out of state for much longer than planned which is a bummer because I could use some girl time. I'm debating planning a trip up there and spending a weekend with her but who knows. meeggaannw, Sending positive vibes your way! heybulldog, Happy birthday Mr. Bulldog! Lakes, Oh my goodness, W started really inch-worming it yesterday! It's basically an Army crawl at this point but I feel like it happened out of nowhere! Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I was both super excited and giddy and also telling him to slow down Lol peaseblossom55,

pibblemom, we did oatmeal with DD1 for like, 5 seconds, then went straight to veggies. Baby A never got oatmeal or cereal or whatever. Straight to veggies. I don't think it's weird that baby is spitting up more. Both of mine started to spit some chunkies when they first started "eating." Maybe instead of stopping all together, jsut do a few spoons full for each "meal" in addition to BF.

This kid has her fussy pants on today. Holy cow. She took a 2 1/2 hr nap not long after she got up, and has wanted to do nothing but nurse since. Except she doesn't want to nurse either, she wants to play. But when I take the boob away she screams.
Halp!

I bet that's the issue with our grumpy sleep fighting darlings. I did get a good crib nap while ds was also napping so there's that!

Just a little something to say hello and touch her sister. ((hugs)) peaseblossom55. I think a balloon release is so sweet. I can't believe it's already been a year. Where does time go? I'll be thinking about your little chick tomorrow.
