easternshoregirl I totally get the irrational thoughts. I was visiting with the dad that lives across the street a couple days ago while our kids played in front of our house and I deliberately didn't mention that H was out of town because I knew that in the motn, crazy librarylady would come out and I would be convinced that nice dad was secretly a serial killer who would pounce on the opportunity that I was alone.... Well I think E is better. He woke up motn to babble again. Still sleeping now. Between being worried about fleas, more storms and E, I barely slept. Send coffee.
Planning to call the vet to see what they suggest about the fleas. Then start washing bedding and stuff. I'm not exactly sure how to do this. Do I get rid of the fleas on the cat first, then all the carpets or the other sat around? Ugh. I might see if they'll treat the fleas. Again get them all off her and go from there. But then again I'd probably need to clean the cat carrier before bringing her home. I may have figured out how they got in. I brought a plant inside for a few days because some animal or something was trying to destroy it. Two days later there was dirt on the counter meaning one of the cats (rainy likes eating plants but had previously left this one alone) was on the counter. The good news is, if that's the case then this happened within the last 1-2 weeks. The fleas are hard to see. You really need to look hard but she's scratching a lot

And the spot I saw one yesterday (on the carpet) she was sitting there (I think) prior. I'm not sure how I'm suppose to get everything clean when she littering goes everywhere

I need to stop obsessively checking the forecast.
But at least the chance of rain dropped 10% and temps went up a degree.
Someone stop me.

jedi, did you tell bil? Is he coming over voluntarily? I personally would like to know if someone's home has fleas.. because I probably would reschedule my visit. But that is just me and I'm paranoid AF with that stuff. Also, call your ped and see what they say. I think you're supposed to monitor for 24 hours after a head injury? So this does fall within that window.

I should have finished RTFT. jedi I hope it is just a coincidence and not related to the head injury. Maybe just something he ate that isn't agreeing with him?

We survived! I ended up giving DD1 my phone so she could watch Mother Goose Club and I had to hold DD2 during the exam, but we made it lol. I picked out cute frames in about 5 minutes and called it a day just as everyone was starting to fuss. Whew!

Although I saw two of my Sephora orders were deliver on Monday so I dressed the kids up in their rain gear and went to "play in the rain" to the mailbox and back. That was a huge hit. There was no puddle left untouched. My Sephora order was a bust. I think I'm the only person who hates the ABH modern renaissance palette. hmm I just looked it up and the colours are def NMS. It reminds me a bit of like barbie make up sets you'd get as a kid

My cat keeps peeing on stuff. She started after we moved. I took her to the vet and they said no UTI, no health problems they can see, probably anxiety/behavioral problem. We have 3 litter boxes, all cleaned daily. She has been litter trained since she was 3 weeks old and she is 2 now.
Idk what to do!!! We have some of those plug in things to reduce stress for cats but it's not working. In the past 3 days, she has peed on our diaper bag, a basket of clean laundry, and the bathroom rug. I've been keeping her kenneled at night but she will literally do it anytime that no one is staring at her. She just peed on the laundry while I was standing 6 feet away from her. I looked down and she was clawing at the clothes to bury it. I'm so annoyed and over this

amberlie - One of my cats has been doing that on and off for about 2 years now. First is was always the rug I put down in K's room. After washing it and it starting to fall apart, I threw it out. Then he stopped for a bit. Then every time I would put a specific bag on the floor, he would pee on that. Now it is a bath rug in a specific location. We've started hanging it up so he can't. I've been told the same, he's healthy (other than being fat), no UTI, etc. Huge PITA basically, but I can't get rid of him either.

fierymama it is so frustrating. We've had her since she was a kitten and she has never had any problems with the litter box until now. But now, she will only use it if she's in the kennel and has no choice. I feel bad using the kennel at all for a cat but I do not have the time to wash every blanket/rug etc every day after she pees on them. I've looked all over online and can't find any solution besides thoroughly cleaning everywhere she pees (which is thankfully never on carpet) and isolating her with the litter box and her food and stuff. Ughhhhh now I'm about to push clothes in the washer that I literally got clean out of the dryer less than an hr ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

amberlie I'm sorry your kitty is stressed. But thank you for sharing this post today. DH just sent me an email about someone at work whose neighbor is rehoming and adorable bengal cat, she is gorgeous and I was tempted, but not right before selling and then moving in a couple of months. This post saved me! lol
