Remember last election when everyone here was talking about those lounge pants from Target? I'm going to do you all a favor right now and tell you about the $12 soft sweatshirt from Costco. It's like a hug. Oooh, link? Which one? Edit after catching up. Is it the one where there is a version with stars on it? I think that's the same brand -- I can't find the hooded one now online for whatever reason. I think it's something like Buffalo for the brand?

A cozy sweatshirt is going to be a must here where it actually gets cold. π

I'm trying to stay focused on election results, but it's a bit of an Arkham Asylum vibe on Twitter tonight.

Also, you can only get verified through the iOS Twitter app, it's not supported on Android. LOL

It's just a single data point, but a reason for hope that inflation may be slowing 'October marked the smallest 12-month increase since the period ending in January, and progress looked different through the report. Some categories dropped notably: Prices for used cars and trucks fell 2.4 percent, airfares 1.1 percent and apparel 0.7 percent. In other pockets of the economy, prices were still climbing but at a slightly slower pace than the month before. For example, food was up 0.6 percent in October, after rising 0.8 percent in September.' Prices rose less than expected in October, as inflation may be easing www.washingtonpost.com/business/2022/11/10/inflation-october-economy-fed/

Itβs a blood bath here in the tech industry. In addition to Twitter layoffs there have been huge reductions at top companies like sales force, Stipe and Zendesk. And yesterday Meta laid off 11,000 employees.
Not sure what this will do to housing and other conditions here but it feels not great.
