Good morning! Thanks for thinking of me. So far today I am ok. No spotting but it has been off and on so I am not getting too excited. I am hoping it's over for good now.

I hope it's over too marygracerich! FX. Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! I can't believe it is already almost August already, this summer is going so fast! But, I think this is the first year ever I'm not too sad about it-getting out of first tri and a bump instead of looking like I ate too much are definitely things to look forward to

I can't believe I am going to say this but I actually feel kind of good today. I slept more than I have in a long time. I have had n spotting so far. I made myself a delicious breakfast. I did the dishes and swept all of the floors on the first floor. The 2yo ate almost all of her breakfast and is being pretty sweet. It's a little chilly out so I have the windows open for some fresh air and it feels great.

I'm either dealing with HFM or Strep with DS1. Hoping the Dr can get us in first thing and that it's strep so there's medicine that will help him feel better. π

I was just thinking something similar about summer, pinkcat. For the first time, it feels like it's going kind of slowly and I'm not that sad about it passing by. I desperately need some energy back! I will gladly put first tri in my rear view. I'm meeting someone I only know from a message board today! It's an old Nest board that migrated to Facebook and we've all "known" each other for ten years or so. I've only met a couple people IRL. It's a bit nerve wracking as I have no idea if we will have much to talk about. But it's one breakfast, hopefully we will manage

Glad you are having a relaxing day, marygracerich! Sorry to hear that LO isn't feeling well, rebeccabunch. Hopefully whatever it is, it ends up passing quickly.

Today is my last easy day for the rest of the week. DD has speech this AM and then one of my little sisters is coming over. I'm leaving for vacation first thing Saturday AM so the rest of the week consists of working wed and fri and packing/organizing the rest of the time.
I cannot wait for vacation. I need a week of relaxation

Seriously, can I take something for this crazy ass dreams?
I had a multihour dream (even went back to it after DH kissed me goodbye this morning) that I had brain cancer and had to fly to get treatment without DH and then of of Mom's friends was with me when they told me they couldn't do anything. Then they took a red marker and wrote "DNR" (do not resuscitate) on my forehead. Seriously?!?! The night before it was someone holding a gun to my head during a robbery of a hotel where I was working at the front desk. I need some sleep people!
I also worked 11ish hours yesterday... I'm almost caught up but not fun...

I have a feeling it's just a virus but we have an appointment at 10:20.

I'm also feeling surprisingly well today and it worries me a little even though I know it is normal since I am just about 12 weeks. It is a little cooler which helps plus DH had DS in the guest room with him the last couple of nights so I have gotten a little more rest too. I will just try to enjoy it. I finally started working on bringing stuff back in the house that we stored in the garage back in May when we had some floors done inside.

I need a product recommendation. Ever since I found out I was pregnant my forehead has been super dry and flaky. Only my forehead. I need a really good moisturizer to use on that area. It's not a good look when I put makeup over it each day because it looks worse. Anyone have a heavy duty moisturizer that they love? I'm looking on Sephora right now but there are way too many choices.

Morning! Feeling good today. Reeeeally need to invest in some new maternity jeans. The ones I have from my last pregnancy are Gap Long and Lean and they're basically flair. I prefer skinny jeans now but I really don't want to spend $70 for another pair of jeans that I'm only going to wear for a few months. I'm hoping the new line from Target will have some nice jeans.

And they last a long time. My skin is super sensitive!

I am having some FOMO over all this maternity pants talk ππ I have worn dresses every day this summer and in winter I usually live in leggings. I don't think I have worn jeans or shorts in at least 2 years. I am a weirdo.

It's only $12.99. I don't know about the jeans yet.

Glad a couple of you are starting to feel better!
I have my monthly check in with my dr today so excited to hopefully hear a little heartbeat again! I can't believe my next appt will be the 20 week scan!
I have a funny story I'm cross posting from my other board. Both kids sang in their swim lessons yesterday "Alice the camel has 5 humps.." and you sing it all the way down to "no humps" and say it's because she's a horse. So DS and I were singing it after bath and I said "DS the camel has..no humps!" And he sang back "mom has..one hump..because you have a baby in your belly" and I thought it was super cute then he pointed at my boobs and said "oh yea two humps because you have those too" π

I have an oily nose and dry skin basically everywhere else.

AW alert: Just got my genetic results and baby is a boy! π I was hoping for a girl but DS will love having a baby brother so close in age. #boymom All the genetic stuff tested came back healthy which is the most important part!
