On the topic of MM, I listened to her podcast for the first time the other night. The Diva one. I liked the conversation with Mimi part but didn’t love how the intro etc seemed kind of… scripted? Too polished? But maybe I’m used to Maintenance Phase and need to up my podcast game haha. I did really like how she spoke at the end of her reaction to Mariah saying she had diva tendencies. I’ll listen to the Serena one for sure. i need to listen to the full Mariah one. I know Mariah tried to say it was her clothes and things, but to me that doesn't make a diva. Oh it sounded very back pedal-y to me. But MM’s introspection at the end was interesting. |

Victoria I enjoy the coordination but I don't know how I feel about the individual pieces. Like the tapered belt on the shirt doesn't go with the flowy skirt? Maybe it'd be better with just a fitted top without the collar and belt? |

Yeah, that's a weird comment from her. Clothes can certainly have diva energy (though I don't think any of Meghan's looks wholly qualify) but diva generally is an attitude, not a look. |

I’ve been to markets in Europe and Asia where they tie and/or braid stalks, stems, leaves, etc. of produce together to carry home. Especially in the more eco-conscious areas. My neighbors are from Denmark and she just posted a picture of her summer trip home—she had a bundle of corn tied together hanging from her bike handlebars. |

I listen to a ton of podcasts and while I can appreciate the ones that are less structured I do prefer a more produced podcast myself. |

I’m a Meghan fan, as you all have probably picked up on, but I’m not sure I love the podcast. I loved the first episode, but even then didn’t love the non-interview parts. Like, she is a great interviewer and I love how she shared stories through that. But I personally don’t love her style of monologue. It’s almost too many dramatic pauses or something?
I thought with the Serena one, they did a better job of tying things together. Ie when they played clips of men screaming at line judges and not getting called the names Serena is. With the diva topic, they seemed to spend too much time diving into the origin of the word diva- which is kind of irrelevant when you’re discussing how women are treated when called a diva.
I’ll definitely keep listening but I hope she settles into it a little bit.
