I know she's likely in a less conscious/aware state but man imagine knowing that the world is just hanging out, refreshing until the word is announced that you're dead. Though I guess at this point she's used to the fanfare. Still weird.

I wonder how they decided Will would be the driver. I mean, theoretically he has the best vision and reflexes. If the other 3 are anything like my parents I’d want to be driving over a passenger in a car being driven slooooowly. |

I’m also having flashbacks to Princess Diana’s death. I was pretty young and didn’t quite follow celeb/news yet but I still remember the moment I saw the news. I cannot imagine what that would’ve been like had it happened in the age of social media.

The scenario I’m imagining is that she’s post-stroke/heart attack and either DNR or in a comatose state. Getting everyone there ASAP gives them a chance to say goodbye and/or appear unified.

To me “comfortable” is medical speak for unconscious. Otherwise they’d say “alert and in good spirits” or something similar. |
